Roma Invicta - S.P.Q.R - Epic Roman Music

This is a song I put together in Classical Latin, written in the style of something that could have been sung in Ancient Rome. The lyrics are taken from Roman themes of courage, fire, sacrifice, and glory. The chorus repeats Roma Invicta “Unconquered Rome” a phrase that once appeared on coins and monuments.
Instruments: I wanted to keep it authentic to the time this was supposed to play out, so I chose one instrument that stood out from them all - the Buccina.
I kept the text in authentic Roman script (all capitals, with V instead of U) and used the pronunciation Romans themselves would have spoken. The idea was to make it feel like a chant you could hear from legionaries marching, or echoing in the Forum during a triumph.
It’s not meant to be polished or modern. It’s meant to feel old, heavy, carved into stone like Rome itself.
