In the heart of Gabon’s equatorial rainforest, a handful of men and women have dedicated their lives to protecting one of Africa’s last wild paradises.
They are Bas, Manassé, Marc, Hjalmar… Gabonese, Belgian, German, and Dutch — together, they are The Keepers of the Jungle.

In the Loango National Park, one of the most biodiverse ecosystems in Africa, the WWF teams lead an ambitious conservation project: tracking elephants, gorillas, hippos, and buffaloes, and fighting poaching on the front lines.

From the creation of the park to the protection of nesting leatherback turtles, and through anti-poaching patrols deep in the forest, this film takes viewers inside a human and ecological adventure like no other.
Between science, courage, and hope, The Keepers of the Jungle celebrates the extraordinary beauty of nature and the resilience of those who defend it.
