For several years, the shores of Lake Tanganyika, near Bujumbura in Burundi, have been the scene of strange disappearances. Several hypotheses were considered: inter-ethnic score-settling, a wave of suicides, a serial killer... Until the day reptile hunter Patrice Faye identified the source of the evil: a man-eating crocodile of gigantic proportions, between 6 and 7 meters long! It is the largest Nile crocodile specimen ever discovered to date. The only solution to preserve both the population and the animal from a potential mortar strike: capture it alive. This is the dangerous mission that Patrice Faye will undertake with the support of the Burundi government and the help of the most eminent specialists.
