Republicans across the country are increasingly putting distance between themselves and the president, breaking with him on issues ranging from the war with Iran to immigration. Kansas, a state that hasn't sent a Democrat to the U.S. Senate in nearly 100 years, is suddenly in play for Democrats. Polls show Democratic Senate nominee Rev. Adam Hamilton is neck and neck with incumbent Senator Roger Marshall. Hamilton says “people are coming up to me and they’re saying ‘I’ve never voted for a Democrat before I’m voting for you.”
