​Music therapy does not always work!

Being a caregiver, especially for a loved one with dementia, is a journey filled with trial and error. Every day, we are doing our best — learning what works, what doesn't, and adjusting with love and patience. Unfortunately, social media can sometimes become a place of judgment instead of support.
In this video, I talk about the importance of trusting caregivers and building a dementia care community where compassion comes first. Caregivers don't need a "peanut gallery" of critics; we need understanding, encouragement, and unity. I hope you understand. I LOVE sharing our journey. I LOVE how many people we help. I do understand that hate and judgement comes with the territory. But that doesn't mean I can't use my voice and call it out.

A family caregiver KNOWS their loved one. That means, an OUTSIDER who doesn't know them can't care for them any better. I don't care what anyone says...you cannot take better care of my mother than me. LOL Respectfully.
