In this video, I take you inside a typical visit with my mom who’s living with dementia in memory care. While many see her as “just walking and being busy,” I’m doing the real work—stimulating her brain with questions, making sure she eats, checking her for bruises, and yes… we even squeeze in a little dancing! 💃🏽

I also mentioned an important meeting with the facility administrator—because advocating for your loved one never stops.

Everybody sees the sweet moments now—but don’t get it twisted. This journey with Mama didn’t start picture-perfect. In fact, a lot of folks assume I had a fairy-tale upbringing. The truth? Not even close!
