The speaker analyzes cryptic clues from a recent Emmys skit and other media to predict Taylor Swift's upcoming re-recordings. The primary theories suggest a release of her debut album on October 24th, followed by *Reputation (Taylor's Version)* in the spring, using \"Easter eggs\" and symbolic imagery to map out the timeline.
Guys, we are so back. I can't tell you how back we are. I have had the Swifty Zoomies for the past
24 hours, and it's almost like I was forgetting what it felt like to have, like, new Taylor Swift
information and Easter eggs. Like, I just feel like it's been so long. It's been too long.
And yesterday was just like any other Monday, and then bam! Taylor is in two places at once.
She's at the Chiefs opening game, but she's also at the Emmys in the skit and everything.
It's just so funny because, number one, obviously she's not even playing in this football game.
She's just attending this football game. And two, she's not even attending the Emmys,
yet she still finds a way to be there and trend on Twitter. Oh, it's too good. It's too good.
She's in two places at once. She's everywhere. Of course, I had to use my brand new cup here.
I found this at Target. It's like a little cute glass cup. And look, a red jersey with a 13.
Are you kidding me? Football helmet? Yes, it is 430, and yes, I am having coffee,
but it's decaf, so it's okay. Okay. Okay, so obviously we know the most likely thing
that's going to happen is Taylor is going to release her re-recorded version of her debut
self-titled album. Me and Allie did a video all about our predictions and everything,
so if you haven't seen that video, go see that video. We talked all about details of debut,
20th anniversary version, whatever you want to call it, and we predict that the album itself is
going to come out on October 24th because that is to the day when the album first came out in 2006,
October 24th, and so it just makes sense to do it on the same day. It's a Friday this year.
It just all makes sense. But then, Taylor goes and does this skit with the Emmys,
and it is incredibly cryptic. The Emmys are tonight. Will Taylor Swift be at the Emmys?
You got to think like a Swifty because the Swifties think that everything
is a clue. Seven and six, add them up, people. Taylor's lucky number, 13.
They are essentially making fun of us, making fun of the Swifties for looking into every little
detail and clue and analyzing everything and bringing up the big, you know, crime board
and all the strings and everything, how everything is connected and how we're insane because nothing
ever just means what it is. It always has to mean something else, and then Taylor walks in,
and she's kind of like, guys, it's hiding in plain sight. I think you're looking too much
into this. It's not adding up, calling out how ridiculous some of our theories are, obviously.
This isn't adding up. A lot of this doesn't fit the pattern, and I don't think everything is a
clue. And so what do we do? We go through this entire video frame by frame and try to find
Easter eggs because we are nothing if not consistent. Taylor has this moment where
she's like, it's hiding in plain sight. I think what we're going to be looking for
is hiding in plain sight. A lot of people notice the through line of
the other places that has been mentioned, for example, in lyrics. So in plain sight, you hid.
Smallest man who ever lived. Then we've got Dear Reader.
I prefer hiding in plain sight. And then most recently at the Grammy Museum,
she said hiding in plain sight. How did you just decide to call them Taylor's versions?
Were you sitting at the house one day? I'm going to call these Taylor versions.
Literally. Yeah. Like sometimes it's just hiding in plain sight, you know?
So it's kind of weird. It's kind of odd that she has been saying this phrase multiple times. Also,
can we just take a minute to talk about her hair? Her hair, like it's so good. It's so cute. She's
got this long bob, bangs fully back. It's straight. And it's almost like a mix between the red era and
She's wearing a suit. So that's very much giving the man. And you just know she's like living her
dream because she obviously loves Law and Order SBU. And she named her cat after Olivia Benson.
And so this whole little skit, you could tell that she was having the best time doing it.
But there's so much to go into. There's so much. Just from the last less than 24 hours,
I've been saving things to my camera roll. I've been going through it. And all of us are just
trying to decode what the hell she means when she says Sakurai Aries from the vineyard north or
south. Sakurai Aries from the vineyard north or south. That has been playing in my brain on repeat
for the last 24 hours. And I just I just want to know. I just want to know if we're on the right
track, because this could be an anagram, which means basically the first letter of each word
means a different word. So like everyone kind of came to the conclusion that from the vineyard
could mean from the vault. Oh my God, her brain is insane. And thank God she's not a serial killer.
And I just love that like during all of this, Travis is just running around the field,
catching his ball, running down the field, doing his thing. So we know that Taylor has been talking
a lot about her song from Toy Story, I Knew It, I Knew You. And it is her first number one country
hit in 13 years since ours came out on Speak Now, which is crazy. And she's been talking a lot about
country roots lately. This year, she did a piece with I believe it was Rolling Stone, where she
talked all about her songwriting. But I think one of my favorite things about the Nashville music
scene, country music and the storytelling where it was when I arrived there, there was almost this
tradition of sort of breaking the fourth wall, making the song then a part of the song or the
writing of the song becomes a part of the song. And I did that in a song called Tim McGraw, where
you know, I'm singing about this, this kind of love lost, hoping that person thinks of me. And
then in the bridge, it's revealed that I wrote this song, and I hope he hears it. I loved doing
that. I still kind of love doing that. She's been really giving a lot of credit to her country roots
and really talking about how much she appreciates coming up in country music and how it taught her
storytelling and has really heavily impacted her songwriting success and all of that. I love my
country roots more and more the further along this path I get. And I want to honor them more and more
and I feel more tied and more loyal to them. The people that shaped who I am as an artist and as
a writer, that all happened in Nashville. She is the youngest person inducted into the Songwriters
Hall of Fame. So there's just been a lot of emphasis on country and songwriting this year.
And she's kind of positioning herself in a way, kind of bringing it all full circle, you know,
with Toy Story, coming back to country, talking about songwriting, where she began her career,
everything. Obviously it's 20 years of Taylor Swift. And when we think about debut, there has
been some easter eggs, like in the Opelight music video, there were some things here and there. The
aesthetic was very 90s, early 2000s. I specifically remember in the living room scene of the video
where there's the TV guide behind her, and TV also could mean Taylor's version, and that is something
that keeps popping up. But getting into it, I'm just going to talk about the easter eggs that
stood out to me and others from the crime board in the Emmys sketch. First we've got this getaway
car visual from the Reputation tour. The getaway car. Visuals with the car with the X marks the
spot. She points to the Reputation album cover. What you made me do off the album, Reputation.
We've got a sticky note with Delicate on it, and we know that Delicate is one of the very few songs
she re-recorded for Reputation, Taylor's version. So there was a lot of nods to Reputation. There's
also a black and a blue guitar pick. You know, I feel like we have given debut this green color
scheme, but to me it always has been more so blue. Like the album cover is like water, so to me that's
kind of what I associate with the debut album, and so that could be part of it. Debut and Reputation,
they've just been coming together. I don't think this is Debutation, I don't think she's dropping
these both at the same time, but I think she's trying to hint to us the timeline of these last
two re-recorded albums. I think Debut is going to be coming in October, and I think Reputation Vault
or Reputation Deluxe would be coming next year in the spring, because we did have a tip from an
account that's usually correct on Twitter that said Deluxe. That's the only word. So I just have a
feeling like whatever that means has to do with either Debut 20th Anniversary Edition or Reputation
Deluxe Edition that includes Vault tracks and maybe just like a re-release of her already recorded
album, because we all know that she is not going to re-record Reputation. There is just so many
little nods to Debut on this board. We've got the teardrops on my guitar little drawing, so there's
a little drawing of a guitar with like teardrops on it. There's a picture to burn friendship bracelet.
There's a little heart on the board, like a hand-drawn heart that she used to draw on her foot during
the Debut era, and that is like the tiniest little detail she could have put on there, but it didn't
get past us, and so that's another little nod. There's a post-it note that says, is it TV? And I think
this is the question of, is it Taylor's version? Like, is this new version of Debut or 20th
Anniversary Edition going to be called Taylor's version? Because technically, she doesn't really need
to do that anymore since she owns The Masters, so technically she could name these kind of re-releases
something different other than Taylor's version. Is it Taylor's version? I don't know. I saw that there
was a bracelet with a butterfly which is associated with Debut, and then when Taylor kind of is
revealed in the skit, they call her a Rookie. And who asked you, Rookie? We all know Rookie is like a
newcomer, like your debut kind of thing, so I feel like that kind of has to do with it as well.
There's a lot of newspaper clippings that have really, like, odd phrases that we should take
note of. One of them being, like, a birthday surprise, and a year ago on the New Heights
podcast, she said, like, she mentioned, like, 16 months from now. Yeah, I'm not ready to be an
analyst right now, but give me 16 months. You're gonna pick up on it. And 16 months from that day
is her birthday this year, so there could be a surprise drop or announcement on her birthday
this year. There's another newspaper headline that says, after 40 years apart, two childhood
friends finally reunite. So I think that's interesting, that's very nostalgic, that's very
full circle, like reunite, rekindle, reunion type of vibe. There's a clock set to 10 13. 10 13 is a
Tuesday, and there's another part of the board that says Tuesday 8 a.m., so people are theorizing
that there's gonna be something happening on Tuesday, October 13th at 8 a.m. And it's not until
you say all this out loud that you're like, wow, this is either we're crazy or she is literally
insane, which could be both. She had to have known that we were just gonna go, like, insane. She's
probably laughing, like, scrolling and laughing at us, truly. There's another part that has the
red album, and it says red herring. That kind of calls back to when there was, like, a glitch on
her website, and it said 3-2-1, and if you unscramble the letters, it said red herring,
so everyone thought she was gonna announce Reputation Taylor's Versus, and then she
announced the Torture Post Department, I think it was that time. She's freaking crazy, I don't know.
Then other people were saying 3-2-1 could be March 21st, which is the first day of Aries season. The
first day of spring, and Aries is another phrase that she mentioned, so take note of that. I feel
like another kind of, like, lyrical connection is that Olivia Benson turns on the TV, and Travis is
playing football, so Karma is the guy on the Chiefs, and then she's got the cat. Karma is a cat
sitting at home playing with those cats she's named after TV show characters, and her cat is
named Olivia Benson. I'm Olivia Benson. Broncos are playing the Chiefs. Guys, the answer has been TV
this whole time. They have a game right now. I just feel like I have to bring Karma into this at all
times, so that's my- that's my little, uh, through line with Karma. But the other thing is, like, the Karma
music video I feel like has a couple visuals that connect to this as well, because she's got the
coffee cup with the clock on it, and we- I feel like we never figured out what that was, and it literally
drives me crazy. There's a little evidence packet of purple glitter that is from the Antihero music
video, like the Midnight Era, which is interesting. But now let's get into these, like, four secret
Easter egg phrases that she said in the video. She's looking directly at the camera and she
explains, like, it's in plain sight. Then she says these four things, and so I think this is what
we're drawing attention to. So first she says saccharide, which is sugar. It's like a- I don't
know if this is, like, a scientific definition. I feel like there's probably been a huge uptick
in Google searches for this. A saccharide is a simple sugar, a combination of sugars, or a
And interesting enough, there is an unreleased song from 2003, like, pre-debut era, called Sugar.
Interesting. Could be part of the debut vault. I don't really have much for this one. It's very
kind of direct, but I just don't know what she could be pointing to. I couldn't. And then we've
got Aries, which is a star sign for people that are born in March-April. Like I said, March 21st
is the first day of Aries season. It's a fire sign, and she said in her Time Person of the
Year article that the rep vault is fire. Like, the vault tracks are gonna be fire. I don't know.
That's a bit of a reach, but, you know, we just gotta, like, lay it all out there, you know?
The mask that she's wearing in the Karma music video when they're, like, you know, in hell,
I guess you would call it, is the- it's like the horn. The mask that she's wearing. And it's giving
very much Reputation vibes, so I think people think Reputation will be coming in March,
like, in the springtime. Also, it is the first of 12 Zodiac signs. First album. There's 12 Taylor
Swift albums. Aries is the first sign. Debut is the first album. Does she, like, just stay up all
night? Like, this has gotta be, like, so thought out, but, like, I don't even know if she tries
to make it this deep anymore. It just kind of happens for her. The universe just moves for her.
Also, like, the beginning of spring. Spring equinox. New beginnings. I feel like as soon as
she releases these last two pieces of her past, she's gonna be able to move into a new era of
whatever comes next, after finally owning all of her music and everything, and going into TS13,
which is crazy. Oh my god. Also, in the very beginning of the Karma music video, she is the
That is the symbol for Libra, which is the exact opposite from Aries. Libra is October, when the
album would come out. And if we go into her last phrase, we're skipping the Vineyard one for now.
North or South. These are giving polar opposites, right? Reputation and Debut could not be more
opposite in terms of, like, all of her albums. One is a country album. One of them is a hyper
pop, very dark aesthetic album. Libra, opposite of Aries. But they're balanced. I don't know,
like, they're bookends of her first, you know, six albums. But there's also a vault track from
Debut called Just South of Knowing Why. So I don't know if the South thing has to do with that.
From the Vineyard, I think we're all just kind of stuck on the fact that this could mean from
the vault. I don't know. But why wouldn't she change the first two words? You know what I mean?
Like, why only change the last word? Please let me know any and all theories that you guys have
been thinking of. Easter eggs that I missed. There might be a few more that I am missing,
obviously. And I feel like every second I open Twitter or TikTok, there's a new theory.
Somebody had commented on TikTok talking about the four things. They all have something to do
with Cardinal. Like, where was it? Cardinal unit of sugar. Cardinal sign is the Aries. Cardinal
grape vineyard. Cardinal direction. Cardinals are red. They talked about red in the skit.
Travis, Kelsey, that's the guy she married. What color is his jersey? Red, like her album.
I don't know what that has to do with anything. Just thought, like, we would just, you know,
put everything out there and hope something sticks. I was so worried that she was going
to announce something this morning because of the whole Tuesday at 8 a.m. thing. And today was
Tuesday, like the day after all this went down. And I was afraid that it was going to be posted
at like 5 a.m., but it didn't happen. So I'm kind of glad about that because I need time.
I need time to, like, process all of this. But I loved her little outfit that she wore to the game
and she was so happy. And Travi did so good. He got a really big catch and a lot of yards. He's
now the second place tight end for most receiving yards ever. Good for Travi. One last thing is that
when Taylor Nation is promoting the voting for VMAs, they posted, like, a video from the
Ophelia music video of her, like, on the phone and it said, like, ring ring. And, like, this
one reference could be applied to both Debut and Reputation because in Debut, in the Our Song music
video, she's on the phone. And then in Look What You Made Me Do, she's on the phone. And I feel
like they're all, like, the same style phone, like an old kind of phone. So that's interesting. And
then that also made me think of Midnight's Mayhem With Me, where she had, like, the phone and she
was, like, being cryptic and announcing the title of the tracks on the album and everything. I've
watched this video probably, like, 50 times now. Just on repeat, like, trying to figure out, like,
I just keep thinking, like, it'll click if I watch it enough times. I also want to note that even
though I feel like the subtitle said Ares as in the zodiac horoscope sign, there is a possibility
that it could be referring to Ares, the god of war, which is the son of Zeus and Hera, which are
the king and queen of the gods. And I feel like there was a lot of Greek mythology stuff going on
with Midnight's karma and tortured poets and Cassandra and all of that. Okay, so we'll end
with this. When Mariska turns the TV on, she says the answer was TV this whole time. The answer
has been TV this whole time. The wording of that sentence is weird to me. I feel like you wouldn't
normally phrase it that way. Like, the answer has been the TV the whole time. Like, I don't know.
And that's why I feel like the answer is TV. The answer is Taylor's version the whole time. Okay,
I feel crazy, but that's okay. Taylor raised us in this asylum and it's her fault that we are this
way. Oh, also, I want to show you guys something fun. Okay, so one of my fellow guitar teachers
here on YouTube has just created her own guitar, designed it, and it's so pretty. And I wanted to
show you guys because I have been watching Michelle, aka Guitar Goddess, for as long as
I can remember. And I am so, so, so, so excited and thankful and grateful that she included me
in her launch of her new collaboration that she has with Journey Instruments. And so,
look at her. She is gorge. So pretty. It's, like, got this, like, little shimmer to it. This, like,
beautiful seafoam green-blue color. And look at the detail. Look at the little wave inlay. Come on.
This is literally the perfect guitar for the celebration of debut. It just, like, gives me
all of the debut vibes. And I love the rounded corner right here. And so, until Taylor decides
to announce debut, I will just be here. If she does not release that on the debut Taylor's
Version Vault, I'm gonna do it for her. Okay, love you guys. Bye.
