Why Twin-Turboing A Coyote Is Harder Than It Looks

A twin turbo Coyote in a 1956 Ford F100, targeting around 800 horsepower, and this is the first time Jason has driven it.

The truck is Dallas Steele's. We built it about nine years ago, and it came back to the shop for a new FF chassis, air ride, and a new interior. Then came the request: make it twin turbo. We said yes. The first version didn't run right.

Jason walks through what that actually took. The Coyote is wide enough that header routing turns into a fight. The first design had the MAF sensor reading turbulence until the tuner flagged it and the whole thing got redesigned. The Holley intake had to be machined down just to clear. He says on camera he thought it would be easier than this.
