While Tecumseh was away recruiting for his confederacy, William Henry Harrison, Governor of the Indiana Territory, moved towards Prophetstown to settle disputes he had with Tecumseh's confederacy. Harrison moved a 1000 man army towards the capital of Tecumseh's Confederacy. He would be attacked by Tecumseh's brother Tenskwatawa, who wanted to defend the capital at any cost.
