This Breakthrough Will Turn Your City Green

We’re building floating city wetlands to bring nature back to Bristol.

Many cities, like Bristol, were built on wetlands. But to make space for us to live, huge drainage systems were created and the water was removed. This has led to some massive problems: less space for nature, more polluted water, and a greater risk of flooding.

That’s why, in our 43rd mission, we went to Bristol and partnered with WWT to bring wetlands back to the city. For this mission, we're also joined by sustainability creator ‪@itsSamBentley‬.

Together, we're building floating wetlands in Bristol Hardor. We're also helping develop a miniature “wetland-in-a-box” that enables anyone with a drainpipe to rewild their city.
