Viking Interview about the Longbow

Hello fellow bowyers, this is a nice interview I got to have with my friend Floki after handing off his new Hedeby style longbow. Made from american ash wood, this 72" longbow pulls 50# @33". The nubs on both ends of the bow were found to most likely be used for aiding the user in walking or even skiing. Traditionally, this bow was made from a species of the yew tree but yew is expensive and Ash works great as well.
One note about the design, I did find that the limbs were a tiny bit slower and hand shock a little higher than normal due to the extra mass on the limbs. Still a really fun bow to shoot and recommend giving this style of bow a try.
