A Coastal House That Gives Nothing Away

Channel by Megowan Architectural is a coastal house in Mornington, Victoria, organised around a bermed landscape, a restrained street frontage and a deliberately controlled sequence of arrival. By turning its principal living spaces away from the north-facing street and lifting the roof to recover light, the house moves from compression and privacy toward a more expansive interior.
