2 Video Views·Sep 12, 2026
Hey everyone and welcome back to CJRaceCars YouTube channel and as you can tell, I'm in
a hotel room.
So that means we made it to LS Fest with Tall Order and I know this is a video a lot of
you guys have been waiting on for a really long time and I can't be more excited myself
to get back on Tall Order and hopefully get this thing to the track really soon.
But before we get to today's video, I want to remind you guys about our current giveaway
because it's already almost halfway over.
If you go to CJRaceCars.com, every $5 gets you one entry into a $100,000 dream build
or a C7 Z06 Corvette plus $10,000 cash or $75,000 cash and this weekend we're doing
something really cool.

These are nice wallets.
So the first 50 orders after this video is posted are getting these wallets in order.
If you're after the first 50 and you spend over $50, we're throwing a signed sticker
in every single order until Sunday at 1159 p.m.
Plus we're doing our third ever last Plasma 52i in one random order between now and Sunday
at 1159 p.m.
And it will be our last dream build giveaway for quite a while.
So with your support, I'm hoping we can make this the biggest one yet by raising the budget.
So go to CJRaceCars.com.
Every $5 gets you one entry into winning one of those awesome prizes plus a bunch of other
cool stuff this weekend.
Thanks for the support.
Let's get to the video.
All right, Josh.
Well, we're back from Yellow Bullet Racing Eagle.
It was an absolute blast.
I mean, I haven't had that much fun in a long time.
So as soon as we got back, we pushed tall order over here and we talked to Kyle and
Taylor and said, we got to get this thing going.
So Kyle's starting on the downpipe.
Now, the downpipe for this thing, this car's got to be super lightweight.
Everything about it's super lightweight.
So you see we got some titanium right here from Ticon.
We got all our titanium V-bands.
We're going to put basically the goal is to come out.
He's got his little jig here, which is super nice because you basically lay the tube in
that corner.
That's where we want it.
We want it a little above the bottom so we can make our mount for the fender under there.
And this is going to come down and out, give him the quick version.
He's going to have to do it.
It's going to be a little tougher than this.
But it's going to come down.
It's going to have to stop somewhere in here with a V-band, kind of like we did Eagle,
right?
Yeah.
And then it's going to have a V-band on this side with a little bullhorn.
And the reason you make it, the V-band parallel with this, with the body line, and so when
you rotate it, it doesn't point it back into the car, you know, anything else.
It just sweeps nice back and forward and use that for some tuning capabilities.
So that's what he's working on now.
This thing's going to be like, this stuff is like, like if I, if I tied a balloon to
this, like just one of the cheap ones from Publix, this thing would float in the ceiling,
like a, like a get well soon balloon.
Yeah.
Let me see that.
Going straight to the ceiling.
Don't, be careful.
You'd toss it up in there.
That's wild.
Now, now it might, it might crack a little bit or break over time, but we gotta be lightweight.
Yeah, we have to.
Gotta be lightweight with this thing.
Easy, don't toss it.
Yeah.
Don't hook any balloons to that thing.
We won't get it back.
Yeah.
He's going to start working on this.
We'll show you guys that.
Taylor's getting ready to do some stuff also on it, and it's time.
It's time to get James in sync.
James texted me while we were racing Eagle.
He said he was fired up for us.
I want to get James in a thing and go racing more and more.
I'm having an absolute blast.
Then we got to figure out something cheap I can race that slow, that I'm not scared
of.
Maybe something 850s.
I got an idea.
Some 850s.
Yeah, some 850s.
I think I can do some 850s stuff.
The idea you were talking about the other day, if we pull the trigger on that, that's
going to be a good one.
That one's, that's close to my heart.
Yeah.
I think that's close to a lot of people's hearts.
Yeah.
So we'll see if we can make that happen.
But for now, Taylor's going to get some stuff done over here and we will be at LS Fest this
week.
Josh will be in the booth selling merch.
We'll be there.
Jack Stan will probably stop by the booth.
We're all going to be up there.
I think Jack Stan, Dr. Tuna Mall, and ourselves will be at LS Fest for the very first time.
I can't be more excited to go there and meet a lot of you guys there.
Super excited.
Well, we're finally getting our Holley electronics mounted in tall order.
We've had the electronics panel done for about six to eight years.
It's time to finally mount the electronics on this thing because we're getting closer
and we're going to LS Fest and the car's going to be in Holley's booth.
Yeah.
So we got to have our Holley stuff in there.
Yeah.
Somebody almost forgot.
I almost forgot.
Well, I got a lot going on.
I said we got to put the car on the ground and put it together.
I totally forgot we didn't have our electronics mounted.
So we got a lot of cool stuff with this car.
We did a video with James explaining all this stuff and he would know better than I would.
But this panel actually seems like it's going to be exactly the right size.
The only thing we will have to do is get another injector driver because we have a set of injectors
for the street and a set of injectors for racing.
So wherever we put this, we'll probably have to stack that later on.
No big deal.
Holley dash.
You say, why didn't we go with the big, big screen TV dash?
But this car is all about lightweight because we're trying to break the LS record and we
need all the help we can get.
We don't want it to be heavy.
You know what I mean?
Yeah.
It's got to be lightweight.
Lightweight.
As long as Taylor Check goes through.
That's all he cares about.
Yeah.
Whatever.
As long as it, as long as it clears.
We're good to go.
We'll do it.
We'll be back Monday.
We'll do it.
Yeah.
That's right.
We'll be back tomorrow.
Oh, tomorrow.
Yeah.
Well, your check won't clear until Friday.
So it'd be Monday.
As long as it clears.
Yeah.
You know what I'm saying?
Or it'll clear Friday morning.
So I'll just finish Friday out.
That's a good, that's a good idea.
I won't leave early.
That's good.
Hey, that looks good.
Yeah.
I think I like this layout.
Yeah.
So we'll just, we'll stack this.
We'll get another injector driver and we'll stack it.
I know you said one for the street, one for race, or you just run both for race.
Both for race?
Both for race.
What do you mean?
Two sets of big injectors.
Holy smokes.
All the fuel.
The good thing about this electronics panel, we Zeus it in right here.
So it just four little quarter turn Zeus's.
It's out.
You can get the wiring.
If you ever have a wiring issue, wire come loose, anything else, you can get to it quick
and service it.
Check it out.
See what you got going on.
So Tara's going to get all this stuff mounted.
We already got the ECU mounted.
Got that mounted up here on some titanium, lightweight.
And this is actually a lightweight unit.
They sell this and then they sell the lightweight version, which I think is the red version.
The red version is the lightweight.
Yes.
Yeah.
So even the electronics from Holley, you can get lightweight.
I don't know.
We should do a comparison.
We need to get another.
And weigh them?
Yeah.
I'm just curious.
I can't remember what they said.
I think it's quite a bit of difference.
It doesn't feel that heavy.
So.
It's light.
All right.
Well, we'll get that.
That panel goes right here.
And you ask what that is.
That's our battery mount.
My guy finally gets to put the battery in.
For our battery.
All right.
Show them the battery.
This is a unit too.
This is the same battery we put in mullet.
I'm fired up about these batteries.
We may actually put one of these in Eagle too.
Look at this.
Full spectrum power batteries.
You've never heard a car crank up so quick.
To be honest, I think it spins the motor fast enough.
You put this thing in drive, you can drive it down the street without even firing it
up.
Maybe.
I mean, they're insane.
Full spectrum power battery.
Same thing we put in mullet.
Going into tall order.
Second seat, drag and drive.
The goal of this car is a few things.
It's been a long time.
You may never have even seen tall order because it's been so long since we've really talked
about it, right?
The goal is hydraulic LS record, eighth mile, quarter mile.
Ideally, if we could be the first five second radial car in drag and drive, that's number
two.
And the overall LS record would be cool.
We may have to stick a different LS in there.
I don't know.
Ace obviously builds, in my opinion, a killer engine.
Yeah.
I mean, that's a 441 cubic inch Billet Noonan Ace LS, but it's a hydraulic roller.
So they got an LSCR head of deal.
I was just talking to Steph yesterday and he's wanting us to put one in something bad.
So we may have to do drag and drive and see if we can sell this one and sell a bunch of
other stuff and put LSCR in this thing.
I don't know.
If he'll make one show up, we can put it in it.
Oh, we'll put it in there.
I'll be honest.
If we didn't already have all this stuff that's connected to this engine, we could probably
trade this in and, and, and put a little bit with it and get one, but we've got too much
stuff, right?
Like this is, this is a lot of money worth of stuff attaching the engine to the turbos.
And these guys here, FIS turbos are going to make some boost for sure.
This thing's going to fly.
Do we potentially have new units?
Yeah, they got some updated, some updated stuff.
That's how long we've been building this.
The guy said at FIS, they said, we innovate stuff so fast, we've had two new innovations
since this.
You got to send these back.
We'll put the new guys on there.
We do have this car, I believe was the first car to have FIS wastegates and blow valves.
And now there's probably a thousand of them out there.
But it was cool to be the first ones, you know, since then, I think we've put them on
the silver S10 and some other stuff.
But this was the first one.
So we're getting everything together, getting the electronics in.
We got an alternator, street car stuff.
We got to figure out a radiator.
I never even thought that through to be honest.
We thought about it for a minute.
We just didn't continue to think.
We didn't stop.
Yeah.
That's the problem.
So I think we thought about it on a Wednesday.
Yeah.
That's the problem.
So this is the drive tank.
I think this tank's about 12-ish gallons.
It's pretty big.
The good thing is we got this connected with our stainless Wiggins.
We sell these.
You pop this loose.
This is easy.
You pop this loose right here, clamp comes off.
You pull this thing out, a few pins.
You put a six or seven gallon, whatever the other tank is for lightweight for racing.
For methanol, this is for gasoline because it's got two sets of injectors, gasoline and
methanol.
Well, initially, initially this was our race tank.
Yeah.
We decided we needed a lighter weight unit.
Yeah.
The other drive tank is identical, but it has a sending unit, you know, to seal level.
That's right.
Oh, you're right.
You're right.
This is just an extra tank.
We got three tanks total.
Two that we're actually going to use.
Yeah.
We do have a drive tank with a sending unit so we can tell how much fuel's in it.
Yeah.
But yeah, this thing's coming out good.
It's got all the street car stuff we need.
The goal with this car, there's a lot of people that build drag and drive cars that build
comfortable street cars that they then try to go really fast with.
The goal with this car was to build a race car with a carbon seat that we could pin with
these little tiny pins, enough stuff onto the car to drive it down the road.
And when we get in the track, unpin all the stuff we didn't need so we could be super
lightweight and go fast.
We don't want to try to go fast with a 3000 pound car.
We want to try to go fast with a 2300 pound car because it's a lot easier.
Building a race car.
Race car where you're driving on the street.
Driving on the street.
And I think that's what we got right here.
You were talking about all these things you want to do with this though, but I'm looking
and once we get it figured out and lined out, what if we, what if we, what if we put a Liberty
in it?
Oh, all right, we'll leave that in the comments.
We did mention a long time ago, we may want to do stick shift with tall order.
Who wants to see us put a stick shift in tall order and see James bang some gears, see if
we can go with those other guys.
Because now the stick shift stuff's getting pretty rowdy with Brett, Joel's new car, Garrett's
redoing, Leroy, like I mean, there's some fast cars out there.
Sean Madden.
That transmission's legal now.
That transmission's legal.
100% legal.
So we could potentially put that in here and have a killer stick shift car.
All right, leave that in the comments.
Let us know.
If people want to see it bad enough, we'll stick a stick shift in there.
We'll do it.
We got to ask James.
I've mentioned it to James, he said he could do it, but I don't know, we'll see.
I think James could drive it.
I think he could.
I think he could drive it.
I think he could.
We got room for a third pedal over there?
We can make room.
You think so?
Yeah.
We can make that work.
Okay.
What do you think, Josh?
Stick shift in tall order or what?
I might as well.
I know.
All right.
We'll have to see.
What would you do though?
A 256 or the Liberty?
A Liberty, bro.
Yeah.
You got to do a Liberty.
I guess we got to see how-
Have you seen that Liberty, just the way it looks?
Let's see.
Think about who's going to drive this.
James.
Who's hard on parts?
Yeah.
We got to put a-
You got to be able to work on it.
We got to put an anvil of a transmission in this thing or else my guy's going to have
a tore up.
All right, Liberty it is if we go stick shift.
Comment below.
Do you want to see us put a Liberty in tall order?
Yeah.
We'll see if James can go some low sixes in tall order with a stick shift because I think
this car is going to go fives with an automatic.
I think.
I don't see why not.
I think it should with no weight added.
So we throw a stick shift in there and we'll see how fast we go.
I mean, the gray area with rules, that's pretty much nothing there for the stick shift, small
block and 28s and that's it.
275.
Yeah.
There's no weight rules or nothing.
No.
Weight, wheelbase.
I wonder if that transmission's lighter than this.
It's got to be.
Oh, it is.
It has to be.
It is.
All right.
Well, then that's it.
Let's finish getting electronics in here.
And if you're going to LS Fest, myself and Josh will be there.
Josh can be in the booth the whole time, signing autographs, cutting off his sleeves, taking
pictures.
If you got a tattoo gun, he's open for tattoos also.
I might cut sleeves off.
It's been hot.
You should let me do an at the racetrack tattoo.
No.
Come on.
Well, no.
Just a little guy.
You got a party dot right there.
I'll do a portrait.
That's even worse.
Kyle, I got to be honest.
What's that?
You're starting on this downpipe, and I don't know if the welds are going to work or not.
I guess we're going to have to find out the hard way, you know?
I mean, I don't want this thing to fall apart, you know?
I don't know if that's going to work.
Might have to turn to a jeep builder after this.
Your first time or what?
Eh, a couple times.
Second time?
Yeah.
Second time.
DJ, stick weld.
Just kidding.
Hey, if you stick welded that, now that'd be something.
It'd probably be a lot stronger, honestly.
All right.
Let's try to stick weld this and see what it looks like.
Well, we'll see what happens.
Stay tuned.
All right.
So, I got one question.
We got all the electronics in, other than the dash, which is no problem.
That'll bolt right in.
But you said there's one more piece we need to put in there, and that's a boost controller.
Yeah.
And my question is, why do we need a boost controller if we need all the boost?
I don't think we can fit enough springs.
Can we just weld them shut?
And waste it.
Josh.
Good.
We could put a spacer in it.
I had a question for Taylor.
He said we had to still mount this thing here, which I'm pretty sure is a boost controller.
Yeah.
But what do we need a boost controller for if we need all the boost?
You just weld the gate shut.
Well, that's what I was saying.
Yeah, but the gate is...
The hat.
If we're trying to set a record...
We don't need that.
We don't need this.
No, we just weld the gate shut.
I mean, it's a nice piece.
Don't get me wrong.
If you're not trying to set a record, it's great.
I mean...
But we're going...
We need those things to spin as fast as they can until it tries to flatten those wheels
out.
It'll flatten that throttle body out before it flattens those wheels out.
That's true.
If we do it that way...
That FIS will blow the top of your intake off before we have a problem with turbos.
We'll just take the wastegates off.
And just close it up.
And cap the port.
Hey!
Now we got something.
That's some Redneck stuff.
Now we...
Hey, that's alright.
That's some go fast...
And guess what that means?
The piece to close it off is lighter than the wastegates.
So now we're saving this half a pound.
Yeah.
We're saving a wastegate weight.
No, that's like a couple pounds.
And all the boost assist.
I guess by better judgment, I'll let you go ahead and mount this.
Because you think we need it.
But I don't think we're going to use that thing much.
That's fine.
Forgot I changed the hand for Andrew.
Kind of went a little too big there because of it.
I mean, that looks pretty good though.
I had a nice consistency going.
You know, Andrew had to come in over here.
Messed you all up.
Messed me all up, man.
Had you weld a little tab on the side and turned it up.
Yeah, I mean, I think that's pretty good with the body line.
What do you think that is?
Maybe like three quarters of an inch?
From there to there?
You probably got an inch.
Yeah.
Yeah, you probably got an inch down there.
So all we got to do really is add a piece one inch long between the two 90s or whatever
those are.
And then we should be close.
Yeah, that's it.
Not bad.
It actually worked out good.
These turbos were in a decent location.
So we didn't have to get too crazy with bends and pie cuts and everything else.
Exactly.
I mean, these tight radius elbows, we definitely needed these.
Oh yeah.
Because if we had like normal radius ones, we'd be screwed.
Pie cuts, I'd be here for a few days doing this.
Pie cuts would take forever.
Like if you had to weld this times 20?
Oh yeah, easily.
I mean, this is probably like three minutes of welding, you know.
You can't go too fast with titanium.
So you have to take your time.
And yeah, you only got a couple of welds and it still takes some time.
So imagine 20 of them.
Would have been sitting there a while for sure.
A couple hours of welding just doing a 90.
Yeah, yeah, exactly.
And then we got two 90s.
Yeah, yeah, right.
Yeah, it would have been a bunch.
You'd have had, yeah, quite a bit both ways there.
Oh yeah, definitely.
So good thing it worked out perfect.
Ticon had the right tight radius bends for this thing.
And it's almost there.
Yeah.
One little piece left.
Yeah, that's it.
I like it.
Me too.
Hopefully tomorrow we'll be all set and you guys will see it out in LS Fest.
I know.
I can't wait for everyone to see this thing at LS Fest.
It's going to be sick.
We've only really ever had it to Cletus' Expo.
So not a ton, a ton of people have seen this thing.
Oh, no kidding.
At LS Fest.
Look, it's got LS in it.
That's perfect.
I mean, right?
You can't go wrong with that.
No, I mean, this is perfect.
Now you just need a what?
A six-speed in it or something you're saying?
Five-speed.
Five-speed?
All right.
I'm sorry.
Liberty five-speed.
We might have to do that next.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Definitely.
We'll see.
I think it's needed.
Yeah, I'm going to talk to James this week.
Well, as you can see, we did make it to LS Fest with Taller.
So if you want to come by and check out the car, it'll be at LS Fest all weekend.
And we have a booth set up there as well.
So I'd love to meet as many of you guys as possible.
I want to apologize for not catching the end of the fabrication on the exhaust.
Not going to get too far into this, but if you watched the second channel video yesterday,
you probably know that I have a lot going on this last week in my personal life.
And I just cannot thank you guys enough.
I mean, you guys are like a second family.
And the fact that you guys are willing to support and come out there and help make a
difference and make the world a better place is absolutely awesome.
There's so many great people that watch these videos, and I can't thank you guys enough.
I will make an updated video on the second channel very soon on my plans to set up something
one day where we can all go stand out there, tell potential customers our stories, hopefully
make a difference.
I think we get enough people out there, the news, someone will pick this up and it will
make a difference.
We found out that the owner of this place owns a ton of these places, a lot of these
places.
A lot of them are under LLCs.
It's hard to find, but we're fighting a rough battle.
Unfortunately, people who have money can pay a little bit of fines, and it's hard to fight
them.
It's expensive.
And that's probably why nobody does it.
That's why they get away with this stuff forever, but I'm dedicated.
And when we started this deal, my wife and myself, I didn't even know if I should post
about it.
I just was working on doing it.
When they called the cops and they started really digging their heels in to try to get
us to stop is the reason I made the video, because the only way we can fight this is
with you guys making, you know, sharing the videos and everything else.
So if you haven't, go watch that video.
A lot of people asked how they could support if they were out of town or if they could
donate money.
I don't want anyone to just donate money.
This was not about the money.
I turned the ads off in a video that I posted yesterday.
None of that was about being a monetary gain to us.
If you want to help for now, I think the only way would be if you want to buy some t-shirts
or buy something for my wife's website, obviously that helps greatly.
And I greatly appreciate it, but I don't want to take donations.
Maybe in the future we can figure out somehow to turn this into some kind of non-profit
or maybe there's an organization that already does something with this and we can just help
push that along.
I'm dedicated to trying to make a real difference in this.
So if you are out of town and you want to help, we are going to schedule some kind of
day if you can make it to be there.
I think that's awesome.
The more people, the better.
If not, if you want to buy, you know, some t-shirts or a sticker or just like, comment,
share, it all helps so much.
So again, I can't thank you guys enough.
You're making a big difference in the world and it means a ton to my family and I really
appreciate it.
So hopefully you like this video.
