Kim never planned on buying a Hobbit house, but after spotting this one-of-a-kind home on Zillow Gone Wild, she made the drive to see it—and ended up winning a 20-way bidding war. Built into a bluff, the 2,400-square-foot home was constructed using two Quonset huts covered in earth and greenery, allowing it to almost disappear into the landscape. Inside, curved walls, soaring skylights, built-in furniture, and dramatic transitions between spaces make the architecture feel inspired by nature.
