The 30th anniversary Red Bull Erzbergrodeo kicks off on the Iron Giant, and the Iron Road Prologue delivered drama from the first run. With Josep García absent and Billy Bolt out after hand surgery, Andrea Verona seized the moment, topping Day 1 with a blistering 10:26 on his KTM. Daniel Sanders showed his enduro roots are still sharp in second, while four-time Erzberg winner Manuel Lettenbichler rounded out the top three. Add rain, mud, electric bikes on the mountain for the first time, and over 1,100 riders battling for just 500 spots in Sunday's Hare Scramble, the prologue had it all.
