Our First Chestnut Festival of the Season! A Taste of Italy

Wander the World with Me

Autumn is finally arriving here in Tuscany! After weeks of sunshine, we're seeing the first signs of the season, and that means one of our favourite Italian traditions is back — the autumn sagre!

Join us for a week of everyday life in Tuscany as we visit a traditional chestnut festival in San Giovanni alla Vena, make fresh pasta with our guests at Casa Colomba, explore the beautiful Pisan hills under moody autumn skies, and revisit our local butcher, Massimiliano, for a closer look at one of Tuscany's most famous specialities: Chianina beef and the legendary Florentine steak.

Along the way, we'll discover more about Tuscan food traditions, seasonal ingredients and the little experiences that make living in this corner of Italy so special.
