Well, good news. We did not hit 100° today in Austin and Camp Mabry 97 the
high temperature thanks to the clouds and a couple of showers we had roaming
around 78 below this morning. Still above average, but not 100°. Thank
goodness. Labor Day tomorrow. Hope you have a great one. Overall, I'm not
anticipating problems. I've got it at 99. We're getting close to 100 again
tomorrow. Isolated storms not out of the question. So I hope everybody stays dry.
I do see an isolated storm risk in the forecast. Rain chances. 10% Heat index
will reach about 105 tomorrow. Keep that in mind. Even though if we stay
in the upper nineties, it's still gonna feel hotter than that. 96 there shows
by three p.m. And somewhere in there, I think we'll hit 98 or 99 rain chances
the next few days. Sunday tonight. Pretty much over with. We see another
round of storms coming up maybe Wednesday, but it's mostly isolated.
Models don't show much in the way of precipitation. Seventies to start the
day off. Eighties and nineties at the lunch hour. All of us should make the
nineties, but a shower could drop into the seventies briefly. 75 lingering
showers pretty much over tonight. 99 for high tomorrow. Isolated storms.
Seven day forecast. Very toasty out there. I've got you in the upper
nineties to near 100°. I don't think we're going to see much in the way of
precipitation across the area for the next few days, but at least a slight
chance and still hot through next weekend.
