AI GeneratedA tour of \"The Birch,\" an 877-square-foot manufactured home located at the Village Camp Resort in Flagstaff, Arizona. The home features two bedrooms, one bathroom, a flexible bonus room, and a standout rooftop deck. Priced at $449,000, it is designed for either permanent residency or as a vacation rental.
Welcome to Flagstaff, Arizona where I will be touring this 877 square foot home that has two
bedrooms, one bathroom, a bonus room, and if you haven't noticed it's also got a rooftop deck.
Let's check it out. This is the Birch at Village Camp Resort and I'm excited about this one for
a number of different reasons. Number one, this layout has never been on the channel. Number two,
this is my first time in Flagstaff. And number three, it has a rooftop deck so I know at least
one viewer is going to be very excited. Shall we? Well, well, well. Surprise, surprise. I bet you
didn't even know that this section of the home existed. Yes, that's right. This home was delivered
in two separate pieces and put together on site. It was manufactured at the Cavco factory
down in Phoenix which is probably two, two and a half hours from where I am standing right now.
As I round this side, let's have a look at the roofline and talk about what is going on with
this home. So they've got kind of a sloped roof at the back. We've got the bathroom, bedroom,
kitchen, living room right here, and the second and third bedroom or bonus room,
depending on what you want to call it, are located in the other section. So no tour of
a home that has a rooftop deck would be complete if I didn't go up to the rooftop deck. So I think
that rightly has to be one of the first stops on this tour. So two entrances. This one goes
right into the kitchen. If you want to come out and barbecue, that's somewhere you could do that.
I'm guessing you could put the barbecue up on the roof deck, but it's just a little more
convenient to have it just outside the back door where they've got it. My first time here at the
Village Camp Resort, they've got a lot going on. I haven't really had a chance to explore too much,
but definitely a cool location. So check this out. They've got the L couch over there. They've got
some seating in the middle. Very spacious up here. And yeah, as I mentioned, definitely room
for a barbecue up here. I'm going to head back down. We'll go around the front. Actually,
you know what? Scratch that. I'm heading in right here. Welcome inside the Birch. Nice, right?
First things first, I want to give a big, no, huge thank you to today's video sponsor, Monarch,
because without them, this video does not exist. Simple as that. This summer,
I have been making a real effort to understand where money is going instead of just assuming
that everything is working itself out. So I started using Monarch. My spending, investments,
and savings goals are all in one place. I don't have to jump between multiple apps to get the
full picture. Monarch securely connects with over 13,000 financial institutions, including banks,
credit cards, and investment accounts. It's all right there. One of the things that I've found
very useful is being able to track my progress over time. Whether I'm working towards a savings
goal, watching my spending, or seeing how my net worth changes from month to month, it gives me a
clear and full picture of my finances. Instead of guessing if I'm moving in the right direction,
I can actually see it. On top of that, Monarch makes budgeting simple to track. It separates
fixed expenses from flexible spending, so it's easy to spot areas you can cut back
if you need to. It even includes AI-powered insights that explain changes in your spending
or net worth, so you can get caught up in just a few seconds. It works on both desktop and mobile,
and if you manage money with a partner, there's a shared view, so you can both stay aligned on
your numbers and goals. It's private and ad-free, which is great. You're the customer, not the
product. No ads, no data selling. If you'd like to check out Monarch, use code CARRY50
for 50% off. Yeah, you heard that right. 50% off. All right, let's get back to the tour.
From my spot at the island, you get a little sneak peek at the kitchen, but I think it only
makes sense to start this off in the living room. So on the end wall, you've got the window out to
the front. You've got a window in the door, but realistically, I think the other door is going
to be the one that gets used most often. This is going to be the one you use if guests are coming
over. Maybe they're coming over to play bridge or canasta. I don't know, whatever you like,
but when they do, you can welcome them in from that side. So the way they've got it set up in
here is with a nice big sectional in the corner, and you've got the windows up above letting in
natural light, along with a ceiling fan. I've been told it gets pretty hot down here in Arizona,
and even though it's September 2nd right now, I would have to agree. So on this side, they've got
the shiplap feature wall. This is added in after the fact, and they've got the TV up above. So
let's think about this for just one second. If you wanted to put a dining table in this home,
there is definitely space in this area right here or possibly over there to do so.
They just haven't done it in this setup. So with Village Camp Resort, what they've got here is you
can buy these homes, but they've also got a rental pool. So this is somewhere that you can come
and rent these homes out on a nightly basis and enjoy a little vacation in Flagstaff.
All right, so moving into the kitchen, huge island, and I like how they've got the overhang
on the end as well because that allows for seating for five, and in my opinion, that pretty much
eliminates the need for the dining table. So let's put that debate to bed. All right, moving into the
kitchen on the inside of the island, they've got three drawers up top and cabinets down below,
pots and pans in there, more there, probably even more. Nope, that one's just empty.
So in this, I think I've got my things in here. Yep, that's my mic case. Okay, moving on,
we've got the fridge over here on this wall, starting off this section of the kitchen.
It's a side-by-side stainless steel with the storage up above. Now, if this were me,
this is probably where I would store spices. Someone said that in another video, and I thought
that was the perfect spot. Actually, no, I think it was this one. If I cooked with spices, that's
definitely where I would put them. Up here, we've got the vent, microwave here, and we've got the
stove down below. As far as counter space goes, there's a little bit over there. They've got some
knives, the toaster, and there's more here, but any of the prep is likely going to be on the island,
so who am I kidding? They've got the tile backsplash all the way across. Nice, wide stainless
steel sink right here. Check this out. You've got the window up above, again, letting in that sweet,
sweet natural light. Beside on the left, bank of drawers. You got your cutlery there, and those
two are the same size, so no real need to open them. Beside the sink on the right side is the
dishwasher, one more drawer here, and another cabinet up above. This is going to be the perfect
spot for drinking glasses because it's right beside the sink, it's right beside the coffee maker,
bingo, bango, bongo. All your liquids are handled in that one section. All right, let's continue.
So, I didn't talk about this door, but it does have the full window as well, again, with the blind
inside the two pieces of glass, so if you don't want people in, don't worry about it, we can handle
it. Let's head into this section because this is where things get interesting, okay? So, this is
bedroom two. Let's call it two plus because, check this out, this is a queen bed in here. They've got
the side tables on either side, so lots of room to go bigger if that's what you're fixing for.
Ceiling fan in here. Moving down to the end, you think it's a walk-in closet, but no, no, no, no,
this is the flex bonus or third bedroom. You can call it whatever you want, but there is a ton of
room in here for two sets of bunks, which in a vacation style home like this is, that is a very
cool setup. Over here, this is where they've got the walk-in closet. This dresser appears to be
built in, so you can store your things in there and then you can hang a few things there and even
more on that side. They've got the pocket door to close that off and I didn't notice it right away,
but pocket door right there as well to separate bedrooms two and three. Window out to the front
and I almost missed it on the way by, so another window right here. You come out of the bedroom,
you can see who's knocking if you want to. Right here, they've got the stacking washer dryer and
I plan to use that tomorrow because I'm realizing I didn't pack enough t-shirts.
All right, so main bedroom in my opinion is over here and look at this, they've got a barn door
into the bedroom which is kind of a cool feature and in here, you've got windows on either side
of the bed. You've got night tables on either side of the bed and moving through the bedroom,
we do have a walk-in closet over here that is complete with a dresser, so you can fold your
things, you can hang your things, you can put things up there. Lots of options for putting
your stuff away. Ceiling fan in here as well, so every room has a ceiling fan which is nice.
Little extra storage in the hall here right before we head into the bathroom, so
one shelf in there, another in there. You've got a few extra things like linens or yeah, basically
that's the perfect spot for linens. Heading down into the bathroom, we've got a window up above
both the toilet and the shower. You've got the tile shower here with the glass door
and the rainfall head there. Over here, that's a medicine cabinet. They've got the mirror
and a nice wide vanity right here as well. So, that pretty much completes it but I do want to
get one last back to front through the home. We've got bedroom on the left, two bedrooms on the right,
nice wide open kitchen, dining, living space here and yeah, I think it's time. I'm going to head
outside and let's get into the pricing. There you have it folks, the Birch at Village Camp Resort
right here in Flagstaff, Arizona. Again, it's a two-bedroom plus flex room, one bathroom,
manufactured home with a footprint of 877 square feet and please, let's not forget about that
As far as pricing goes, this one goes for $449,000. That is it for me here in Flagstaff.
I hope you enjoyed the tour. Thank you for watching. We'll see you in the next one.
