Yeah, I mean, you kind of get to the end of training camp, and
you've been through everything that you put in from winter to
spring to summer, get down to training camp, and you're
excited to go play a game. You know, football is probably the
game where you get the you put in the most work for the least
amount of opportunity. The other sports, you get a lot more
games. So it's fun to get a chance to play.
Yeah, so we had a mock game day, where we kind of put ourselves
in a game like situation and move the ball and play all the
situations with special teams and go in at halftime. And I
think it was, you know, we other places in my career, we've done
it. This is probably the one that I enjoyed the most because
there was it was the most detailed, detailed and the most
game like, obviously, you can't simulate truly a game, but you
can simulate the operation. And so, you know, from where we're
going to be on the sideline to where everyone stands in to how
we're substituting TV timeouts, all those things, it was all
covered. So I thought it went really well.
How much
hope there's continued momentum?
Can you use anything?
Yeah, so just a couple things to that, like, I'm a big believer
as a coach that, you know, each year is its own year, obviously,
you know, you got new players, new staff, new head coach. So
there is that part, what I would say is there are some guys who
were able to go through some lows at the beginning, and then
ascend, ascend, ascend, ascend and send. And I think what that
does is it builds belief and resolve. And so can you take
that? Can you take belief and resolve from one year to the
next? Absolutely. So that's what I would say, you know,
because obviously, we got a bunch of new guys coming in from
different places, but I think that's what we can carry over.
