In 1997, Fred Salas and Robert Herbert were given the opportunity to build something new in place
of the fallen Lima Bird Disc Golf Course and what they built was far ahead of its time. Now,
almost 30 years later, we find ourselves still here on the grounds of England Idlewild Park for
round two of the 2026 LWS Open at Idlewild presented by Dynamic Discs. And Peyton Cohut
on the fairway of one par four. Gave us a couple highlights yesterday with parking hole 17.
Look at that smooth delivery. On the pace. What an aggressive throw.
Nice mix of molds in her bag this season. A little discraft, a little Innova.
I think I saw an MVP disc on hole one. A little overmold technology. And that will do it.
Crossing two. Go too long. You can skip left. Also find the pond OB.
Basket is really the perfect place for challenges. Rebecca Cox is in the wide open. I don't,
I have no idea what I saw there. That was a no problem approach for Rebecca under
the basket, essentially in the bullseye for birdie.
Chantelle Bodinski from Canada. Miss Frisbee's on YouTube. Give her a follow.
Forehand up to the pin. That's a chance on that hole. Trying to play just down to the flat and
then get to the other side to give themselves a birdie putt. Emily Weatherman going to get
there in three. She's got a birdie putt. Look at that second shot pushing that downhill.
Weatherman now on the tee at five. This looks awesome. Does she get the green? She does.
And she grabs it. That is one of three birdies on the day. Weatherman, Kelly Foster, Hannah Wynn.
And now the local Nina Bennett for par. Yes! Money. The local legend, Nina Bennett from deep.
Call that 70, 65, 70 feet. That is a sick putt. Roll back the Zuka replay. Really clean putting
stroke. Zero birdies today on the par four. Tough hole. Vekas. Yeah, that's gonna get her to 10
under. First player to double digits. Now Cox, her third shot. She's trying to get up and down for
birdie. Oh, with that steep wide hyzer swinging back to the basket in the bullseye. Love to see
it. That's going to give her solo second place. She's going to take own if she could knock this
down. The local club to build this course because they built a runway on their previous course,
Lima Berg disc golf course. Trinity, what a putt there. Solid confidence. Great stroke right in the
basket for birdie. A little stretch out. Southwest on the compass having to step back a little bit.
Super techy approach. That will do just fine. Great third shot leads this putt.
Knocks it in. No question. Five under through the first eight. Reminder the course record
eight under set yesterday by our leader Lisa Fekas. And with all the events that Cadence has
missed this year, her really only legitimate ticket into that pro tour final will be a play in
at the Maple Hill or winning one of these last couple of events. Early morning dew on the teapads
can cause some grip issues. Doesn't seem to bother Jessica too much there. She delivers a dime.
Whoa, Brian, you bet a Canadian sitting in a tie for sixth place. Love that swing, Brian. It was
the first thing that I noticed when she hit the scene. It was it was the off our movement. All
these young players have such good mechanics with that left arm and it makes those those shots just
look effortless. This is one of the shorter par fives we're ever going to see for the FPO division,
but a three on this is spectacular. You've got to get this one to just die. It can't pan out.
I mean, if you can just play that tree, that's the play. Lisa trying to get around the corner.
Her third shot chance for birdie again. Great chance. And now Scoggins, her chance for a birdie
on eight. Yes. Who cares about getting the weight right behind the approach if you're going to be
number one, see two putter on tour knocking down. I mean, that for all intents and purposes, that's
Emily. This could be special. Oh, no way off the top and an absolute beeline for Emily Weatherman.
That's going to be your one shot energy replay. I had my hands up right when it came out of her
hand. Look at this. Wow. Couldn't be more center. Just a few inches high.
That's one good way to do it. Just a bullet for Mondo Hano still in a tie for second.
This would give her the solo second place spot and she's right back in it. This could be a two
stroke swing. I mean, Lisa's a great putter in the green. I expect her to make it. But if she
doesn't make it, it would be the quickest, essential a race of that five shot deficit
just in a couple of holes. And that's a confident stroke from all right on the pole. That's exactly
what we expect from her trying to grab her fourth birdie. She's right next to the pin.
That's going to be her fourth birdie in a row. So walked up there, gave the green a little look.
Oh, yeah. Buckets. Absolutely hearted, Brian. That is Lisa Ficus being Lisa Ficus
just walks it down nice and slow. You guys can catch up to your lies. I'm good. I got my birdie
stone cold, man. So like what what's going on is doing right now is very Wysocki in the way that
if he ever got a bogey, an untimely bogey or did something uncharacteristically poor in his eyes,
it would light the fire. And all of a sudden we'd be like, well, him bogeying was actually the worst
thing for the field. Oh, a really unique line choice and really, really on a special run right
now. Fake is now another long birdie. Count it. She's an animal. She's an animal. Incredible.
She does not care that own is 15 feet away from her fifth straight birdie. Six six six birdie.
She doesn't care. Look at the calmness just walking it in. Sorry, guys. I know this is a
60 footer. I'm still walking it into the basket. Is she the coolest person in the world right now?
She might be the coolest person in the world. Cadence stretch bending a bit too much on 15.
A chance for birdie, you know, slow round one, one over par fireworks. Since then,
Caden Caden Spurge shooting up the leaderboard on moving day. Ficus going forehand. No red flag.
No. Oh, no. She is going to get to take it from the other side.
Oh, I believe that tree was on the other side of the creek. But that's the second OB. What a
devastating way to to break the bogey free stretch that she had played over half the tournament
without a bogey. And now it's going to be more than likely a triple bogey. And that's if she's
able to play the rest of the hole. Well, this could get on back in and potentially even tie
for the lead after all is done here on the devastating 13th. She's been delivering strikes
all day. None more important than this one for the triple. And finally, a blemish on the green.
And Brian, we're going to see a new leader just like that. Now, Alexis Kerman for birdie on 17.
Oh, yeah. Wow. Circle to stepper in the basket for the former collegiate champion.
How long that drive was past the green. And she's like, well, how do I get to the basket?
What's the best process here? Anchors that right foot. Look at that.
Perfect held follow through. She's she's just it's a superpower.
It really is Simon Lizotte esque in the way that you always know exactly how he feels. He's just
wears every single emotion so openly, so vulnerable. I feel like when you play this
many tournaments, it's easy to get jaded to and not get wowed by something like that happening.
And let's not look past here. Trinity Bryant on the green putting for a birdie.
Only three birdies on the day thus far on the 14th. Alexis on 15.
Hard to throw that much better. That's a really, really solid shot.
Weatherman trying to get over on one here. And that's just fine. Tap in birdie ahead.
That's the putt Rebecca needed. That's going to be for birdie.
If she finds herself questioning her putt, she just needs to find this sacred moment where she
just is picturing herself on the 15th because back to back days she's delivered strikes from outside
the circle. Very well done. That's going to be a great birdie again. The card not doing too well
here. Trinity for her birdie. What an awesome birdie birdie stretch. Getting back into an even
par now for the tournament. Count it! Are you kidding me? Elevator from the top band down to
the tray. What? What a superstar. What a stud. She's amazing. Oh, an important putt to get
a one-shot advantage and she delivers. Trinity right side. That's going to work out. That's
going to work about as good as it can get from there. Squeaky clean through the right side.
Nothing you can do besides smile on that one. Trinity weak side for birdie on 17. She is fighting.
What a backdrop for disc golf in the swampy bayous of New Orleans. Lisa Fake is trying to
There's a hyzer in time. It does. That is so well done. Out the gap in two. Exactly what you're
looking to do. Lisa trying to get to the green here. Pops it through. Okay. To become the co-leader
and that putt is something special, Brian. We will see you all on Championship Sunday with a
tie ball game at the top. Skagen's Fake is trying to win her first Elite Series tournament.
Owen on the other hand trying to become a back-to-back-to-back champion.
Awesome storylines. Nearly a two-horse race going into the finals. Both players eligible for FP40.
Brian, this is awesome. Hi, Owen Skagen. Thank you for watching the Disc Golf Pro Tour on YouTube.
