I was at the dollar store the other day and I thought, let's just grab a pack of these
cheap potholders and whip up a quick organizing project, shall we?
Start with two potholders like this.
For the first one, we're going to add a line of hot glue along the bottom edge.
Now grab your second potholder and attach the top edge of that one to the line of glue.
Fold the bottom potholder up so it covers about two-thirds of the top potholder with
the loop.
Now let's flip the whole thing over and fold the top two corners back next to that hanging
loop.
Add a little hot glue underneath the corners to hold them down nice and tight, and that's
it!
Flip this entire thing back over and you've got an adorable little hanging pocket that
you can use all around the house.
For example, hang it on one side of your refrigerator and you've got a handy spot for your grocery
list and a pen.
You could also hang one up near your front door and turn it into a tiny drop zone.
Sunglasses, keys, maybe even a small wallet.
And if you have a small bathroom with very little counter space, this could be such a
clever solution there too.
Hang it on the wall for makeup brushes, skincare products, and other essentials that normally
take up that precious counter space.
I hung one on the bulletin board in my son's room and it's the perfect little pocket for
storing his markers.
These are easy for him to grab when he wants to draw and they're contained instead of rolling
around all over the desk.
You could even make several of these and use them in different rooms for different purposes
around the house.
And because you're starting with inexpensive potholders and just a bit of hot glue, this
is one of those projects that's easy to customize without spending much money at all.
