Labor Day weekend starts tomorrow and for many, their plans might take them
to the town of Ludlow's annual Festa. Although it falls on the three day
weekend, Festa celebrates the inauguration and founding of Our Lady
Fatima Parish since its creation in 1949. This year, there will be new
vendors, a brand new stage with equipment for several lineups that are
debuting for the first time. The president of Festa says they couldn't
do it without the help from their volunteers.
We can't do it without our volunteers. So a big shout out to all our
volunteers. Our committee members takes over 200 volunteers to put it on. The
committee works year round to make it happen and I think the community comes
out and supports it. It's still a very family friendly event and we're very
fortunate to be able to pull that off every year. A firework show will be
held tomorrow night. The celebration of mass with a bishop visiting from
Portugal. Candlelight procession is happening on sunday followed by the
last day of Festa on monday
