We're going to make an easy and delicious one skillet meal today. So we're going to
take some boneless skinless chicken thighs and we're going to make a creamy spinach sauce
to go along with that. So all the ingredients that you need to make this meal are right here.
Now, if you don't want to use chicken thighs, feel free to use chicken breast. If you don't
use bacon, that's cool. You know, you can use turkey bacon or you're going to omit the bacon
all the way and you're going to use another type of fat like butter or margarine. So let's make
this meal. It's going to be easy and delicious. Here we go. Let's cut our bacon. We're going to
cut our onions and garlic. We're going to season front and back of our chicken with sea salt
and black pepper. You're going to add your chicken to a hot skillet.
You're going to cook for five minutes on each side or until they are done. Remove the chicken
once they are nice golden brown and fully cooked. To that pan, you're going to add your
chopped bacon and onion and you are going to saute until the onions and the bacon are cooked.
The bacon should be crispy. About five minutes. Once your onions and bacon are done,
you're going to add your garlic and then you're also going to add your chicken stock and you're
going to let this come to a boil and reduce. This is what it should look like when our chicken
stock reduces. Look at that. Oh, it smells so good. Let's add the half and half. Now, we're
going to bring this to another boil. Then we're going to slowly incorporate the Parmesan cheese.
Once it reaches a slow boil, you're going to slowly incorporate the Parmesan cheese,
stirring as you continue to add the cheese. Keep stirring until it's all incorporated.
Once the cheese is incorporated and it's a nice thick texture, then you're going to add
all of the spinach. Now, you're going to have to slowly incorporate this and stir it in,
but you want to add all of the spinach. Now, once the spinach is wilted, adjust your seasonings.
Some salt, black pepper, and my favorite, a little red pepper flake. Spicy! Let that marinate.
Once that has been simmering for about two minutes, add your chicken back to the pan.
Let that chicken take a bath in that sauce. It'll be looking like
this is what it should look like. Delicious.
