Chris is trapped by the flooded river and returns to the Magic Bus starving and exhausted. Desperate for food, he uses his plant guide to forage and eats what he thinks is safe. Not long after, he collapses—pale, weak, and violently sick. Panicked, he re-checks the book and realizes he may have identified the plant wrong. One small mistake turns his fight to survive into a terrifying reality check.

Movie Description: Based on a true story. After graduating from Emory University, Christopher McCandless abandoned his possessions, gave his entire savings account to charity, and hitchhiked to Alaska to live in the wilderness. Along the way, Christopher encounters a series of characters who shape his life.
