After years of enduring relentless public attacks, Lara Logan explains how she learned to stop giving cruel and hateful comments power over her.
In Episode 96 of Going Rogue with Lara Logan, Bre Pirch reveals what has been happening inside the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) as the historic women’s organization faces a battle over its membership policies and the inclusion of transgender women.
Bre has spoken out about the policy, the treatment of members who oppose it and the potential safety concerns for young women involved with the organization. As a result, she says she has faced hate mail, public attacks and threats of legal action intended to make her surrender and remain silent.
Lara tells Bre that being attacked is never easy. When you are standing in the eye of the storm, the pressure can feel like a tsunami coming from every direction. That is exactly the point. They want you emotional, overwhelmed and off balance.
Her advice is simple: when the wave of surrender comes, call someone who will remind you why you started and tell you to keep going. Just do not call Lara expecting soft love. Expect a tough pep talk about 1776.

They could not account for where the money went. And that was in 1990s. Imagine now,
what Doge found about government waste and corruption. It's just the tip of the iceberg.
There's a lot more out there. All these contractors of all sides. These guys get government money
and then they turn around with that money, they bought off the politicians, they give them more.
And this system has gotten worse over the decades and decades. All these congressmen are owned by
these government contractors, powerful money interests, who are living off your hard-earned
money as slave and then recycle that money back, part of it, to make sure that congressmen,
that they pay to get elected, continue to represent them, not you, the American people.
So my solution has been over 30 years, stop giving them money that you legally do not owe
in the first place. Oh, it's a really big deal. It's very unfair to American taxpayers to be
robbed blind the way they have been. And then for it to be cast as just a partisan
political issue, the bottom line is Americans of all persuasions, it doesn't matter their race
or where they come from or how they vote, people don't want to be robbed blind.
And that's what's happening. It's one thing if the money is going to the homeless people or going
to a good cause, even a good cause abroad, but it's not. It's just being stolen from you.
And I think one of the most powerful arguments against this payment that they use to scare
people is to say, well, if you don't pay your taxes, if there's no internal revenue coming in,
how on earth is the government going to fix the roads and, you know, do the other things,
pay for the police force and how would they fund the public schools? Like,
how will any of this get paid for if you don't have taxes?
By a local taxes, like property taxes, sales taxes, gas taxes, DME taxes. They put the roads
and schools and police and the courts, not the federal taxes that goes to the DC empire.
America is not a country really. It's 50 countries in a union, much like France and Germany are
countries within a European union. There are countries such as Florida, Texas, and California.
That's where the core lockdowns were done state by state, country by country. My country is Florida.
We have our own legislative governor and state Supreme court, and they provide for
taxes and services to take care of us. So we don't need this empire in DC to make us poor,
take the money that we could pay to our own local government and stay to service directly,
like better roads, better schools, better police protection. You know, they just take it and waste
it in DC and that process I'm focusing on reversing it. How do I come back to the American
people? You, that it belongs in their first place. You can do what you want with it. And there's
going to be more for local county, city, state governments to provide the services that we need
to do a better job as well. Yes. It's definitely very frustrating for American people to see their
tax dollars flying out the door because people work hard, you know it's not easy and they,
Americans don't take long holidays. Most of them, some Americans never go on vacation,
never own their own car and having to, you know, to pay your taxes, pay your accountant and
navigate this complex system that seems to just work against the ordinary person all the time.
That's quite something payment. I'm just wondering, is this, is this for you,
obviously you are, am I right in saying that you operate within the law,
that nothing that you're doing is illegal? Absolutely. You know, everything we do is
number one, based upon the law on our website. The first of the seven steps we have is proof
for the law that no law requires 99% of Americans to file for income tax and payroll taxes.
I offer a $50,000 reward. Anybody that can show me I am wrong. I used to offer another,
I still do $300,000 reward. And this law professor from George Washington University in DC tried to
collect it. I refuted him. I offered him double. If he were to be able to get a DOJ lawyer or a
judge to make the claim against our reward, I never did because they know, they know there's
no law requiring us to be slaves. American people are not meant to be slaves, but they don't teach
us about the law and our rights. That's why I started Freedom Law School in 1997, to educate
the American people about the constitution, the law and our rights. And we were not taught in
high school. See, as I educated myself more and more, and this is the solution, education,
enlightenment. That's what gets rid of the fear. When they, through ignorance, make us afraid.
Yeah. Now they can rob and enslave you all they want.
