The video discusses the appointment of Katie Zakaria as White House Press Secretary, defending her against mainstream media criticism while highlighting her personal background and professional qualifications. It also covers the announcement of a new Navy submarine repair center in Cleveland and updates on President Trump's campaign momentum and administrative changes.
I'm also pleased to announce that the Department of War has officially
selected the new home of the U.S. Submarine Component Repair Center,
a big deal that everybody wanted,
and it's going to be right here in Ohio, in Cleveland, Ohio.
Big deal.
These guys, that guy, this massive 46,000-square-foot
facility will manufacture, repair, and maintain key parts
for virtually all new and existing submarines.
By the way, we make the greatest submarines anywhere in the world.
We're 15 years ahead of number two, which is Russia.
But they are number two. But we are way ahead.
Nobody makes submarines. It's the most powerful weapon
in the world, actually, by far.
India is set to begin her new role
as White House press secretary today.
President Trump announcing the news over the weekend,
saying she will deliver strong results and do a fantastic job.
She joined Fox & Friends over the weekend
to share her vision for this next chapter.
I am looking forward to walking in and working for President Trump.
This job is not about me.
This job is about him and how he wants
to communicate to the American people.
Just to see this vision he has for building,
but also for America and the greatness that
America has and has always had and that he's bringing back.
I can't wait to work for President Trump.
The left just had a very emotional breakdown over
a 20-minute press briefing. 20 minutes,
guys. Three questions. Somewhere,
a cable news anchor is breathing very heavily into a paper
bag. Now, here's the twist.
They didn't hate what Katie Zakaria had to say. They hated her before
she even said it. You see,
CNN ran this hit piece the day before her first briefing. This is not
reported, guys. This is more like a fortune cookie with a press pass.
Truly, the most accurate
prediction CNN has made in a decade
and they had to write it themselves. And then of course,
Caitlin Collins, she was completely outraged
that it was only lasting 20 minutes. 20 minutes,
Caitlin, nobody watched CNN for 20 minutes since 2019.
Let the woman go. Oh, and then my personal
favorite, Jen Psaki popped up on MSNBC now to call it an SNL skit.
Jen Psaki, guys, you know, the
circle back queen, a woman who dodged
so many questions that she should have been paid in
frequent flyer miles? Critiquing a press briefing
is like Joe Biden critiquing your stare technique.
Oh, and then Megyn Kelly, not exactly
President Trump's biggest fan right now,
cleared her throat and said, hang on,
these are the same geniuses who told us Karine Jean-Pierre
was a brilliant communicator. Brilliant.
And if you disagreed, bigot. Same podium, same job,
totally different rulebook.
It's kind of funny how that works, right? So why the panic? Well,
Katie Zakaria is a Christian, a mother of four,
an attorney, and she was one hour,
one single hour from never being born.
One phone call changed everything, folks.
So now she's at the White House
and they're sweating through their blazers. Is she Caroline
Leavitt? No, nobody is. We'll admit that.
But she walked in with real news from Youngstown, Ohio
to a new Navy submarine center in Cleveland.
Her critics walked in with snark, hurt feelings,
and ratings lower than my cell phone battery, guys.
Well, today you're going to get everything
that the media forgot. And real quick,
if you're new here, go ahead and hit subscribe. Unlike
Jen Psaki, we never ever circle back.
We just keep coming back swinging. And if this even made
you laugh once, hit the like button on the way out.
Jen Psaki would probably circle back to it,
but you don't have to. So let's go ahead
and start with the part that nobody in the media
wants to admit. The verdict was in before the trial started.
That's right, guys. Before Katie
Zakaria walked up to the podium before she cleared her throat.
Before she even said good
afternoon, the left had already decided bad,
unqualified, embarrassing, next. Now think about
that, right? When you judge somebody before
they've even done anything, we used to call that
prejudice. Now it's just called media analysis.
Now the outrage was typed, formatted, sitting in
the draft folders. They just needed her to show up
so that they could hit send. And she showed up.
Now here's the thing, folks. They didn't watch her fail.
They planned for her to fail. The headlines
were pre-written with a blank space that said, insert disaster here.
She didn't hand them a
disaster, so they made one up.
And honestly, if they hate her this much, this fast, this is not
a red flag. This is a badge of honor.
If CNN can write the review, before the show even starts,
just imagine what they're doing
to the stories you never hear about. This is why I put together
the Ron Yates Report newsletter, guys.
It is totally free, it's straight, and it lands in
your inbox before the spin does.
With the midterms weeks away, your taxes, and your paycheck, and
your vote all on the line, you deserve the real story first,
not some pre-written one. I'll leave
a link for you in the description down below.
Join free. CNN won't be getting a copy.
Now, let's go ahead and talk about CNN
for a second, because CNN did not wait.
Why would they wait? Patience isn't really their thing.
Neither is accuracy. The day before their
first briefing, the day before,
CNN ran a hit piece calling Katie Zakaria a conspiracy
theorist. Let that sink in.
She hadn't answered one question, she hadn't stood at the podium for
one second yet, and CNN already had the review written.
This is like giving a restaurant one
star because you didn't like the parking lot
on your way to a different restaurant.
Oh, and the charge? CNN said she made baseless accusations.
CNN. This is the pot calling the
the kettle black, and then demanding
that the kettle issue a correction.
So here's what they missed.
Attacking somebody on day zero doesn't make Americans trust
her less, it makes them trust CNN less,
which is rather impressive because that bar was
already laying on the floor.
So when CNN attacks you before you even start, that's not news,
that's more like a resume boost.
I am so honored to work for President Trump
and the American people as the new White House
Press Secretary.
I want to thank President Trump for his trust that he has placed in me.
I have wanted to work for him for a very long time.
I'm looking forward to working with each
of you as well, especially as we are in the middle
of the midterm blitz with energy and excitement
never seen before in the history of midterms,
thanks to President Trump.
So who is this woman who has CNN reaching for the smelling salts?
Well, let's go ahead and run the
resume, shall we? Christian, mother of four,
attorney, 41 years old. She worked at the
Department of Homeland Security.
She was a senior communications advisor at Truth Social,
a commentator on Fox News and Newsmax.
I mean, you can practically hear the newsroom gasping.
A Christian with four kids and a law degree
who work for our border security? Somebody please
get Jen Psaki some smelling salts, right?
Four kids, guys, four. She spent years managing
tantrums and sticky hands and little people
who refuse to answer simple questions.
The White House press corps, this is just a daycare with some lanyards.
And she's an attorney.
And she reads the fine print.
Half the press corps haven't read
the fine print since dial-up internet, faith, family,
law degree, border security, America first.
Yeah, every box they can't stand,
checked, double-checked, and laminated.
But this is not what really drives them the craziest.
one part of her story that they just can't handle.
Now real quick, somebody in your life
still thinks the media plays it straight,
go ahead and send them this video not to start
a fight. Just to let them know,
watch CNN write the obituary before the patient even
showed up. Hit share guys,
I'll wait for it and unlike Jen Psaki, we ain't gonna
circle back.
So here it is, Katie Zachariah's birth mother was 19 years old,
scared, alone, and she had
an abortion appointment already on the calendar.
Less than one hour before that appointment,
the phone rang. A Christian counselor.
One phone call, one conversation, her mother canceled.
She chose adoption. Now, that baby grew up,
became a lawyer, raised four kids of her own,
and this week, she stood at the most watched podium in Washington,
D.C., working for President
Donald J. Trump. Now, I want you to ask yourself right now,
why didn't CNN lead with that? It's
kind of weird, right? The media loves an underdog story,
unless the underdog is pro-life, and then
all of a sudden it's not relevant to the briefing.
Maybe that's your story too, right? Or maybe your
mom's story, or maybe your kid's story.
I don't know, like one phone call, one choice, one life,
and that one life is now driving the entire legacy media up
the wall on a daily basis with a smile.
Every life has value long before anybody knows what it will become.
Sometimes it becomes the
White House press secretary. Who knew, right?
So what did she actually say up there? The media
skipped it, so I'll go ahead and tell you.
She said that she was honored to serve President Trump
and the American people. Shocking, right?
Like radical. Somebody alert the fact checkers.
And then she talked about Youngstown, Ohio,
a Trump rally that was so packed that the arena
was overflowing. Special guests, Jake Paul,
John Gruden, a YouTube boxer, and a football legend.
That's not a rally, guys. That is a Super
Bowl halftime show with some better speeches.
Just ask anybody who's been to one, right?
It's not a political event. It's more like a
celebration of family and country and God with some nachos.
Just look no further than last night
in Youngstown, Ohio,
where President Trump delivered another blockbuster rally out on the
trail. The arena was overflowing with enthusiasm
as thousands came out to support President Trump,
as well as special guests Jake Paul and football legend John Gruden.
The president also announced
the Department of Defense has officially selected Cleveland,
Ohio, as the new home for the U.S.
Navy's Submarine Component Repair Center.
This massive 46,000 square foot facility will manufacture,
repair, and maintain key parts for virtually all new
and existing submarines. This is historic.
Everyday Americans are showing up in droves to attend these rallies
because of President Trump's America First agenda
of lower taxes, higher wages, and one of my favorites, secure borders.
But it doesn't stop there.
President Trump is planning to hold rallies in Alaska,
Arizona, Montana,
where I will be with him,
and Georgia, building off of the incredible momentum
generated over the last several days from his stops in Tennessee,
New York, Texas, and Nebraska.
He is an energetic president.
Attendance is at record highs as enthusiastic, hardworking Americans
are lining up and packing arenas to support President Trump
and Republicans.
It's not hard to see why.
President Trump is fighting
and delivering for American workers every minute of every day.
Then on day one, she dropped the real news.
The Department of Defense picked Cleveland,
Ohio for the Navy's new 46,000 square foot submarine repair center.
Jobs in Ohio, folks.
Next stops, Alaska, Arizona, Montana, Georgia.
This is after Tennessee, New York, Texas,
and Nebraska. The man is 80 years old and he's out touring rock bands.
First day on the job and
she showed up with jobs news. Imagine that.
Oh, and then came the outrage, the horror,
the scandal of the century. The briefing was short.
Yeah, Caitlin Collins over at CNN was
absolutely upset. 20 minutes, only three questions, three.
Now you would think that
Katie keyed her car or something.
Wolf, it was kind of bizarre because it was a press briefing,
but there was only two questions
that were taken by the new press secretary.
She came out.
She read very lengthy remarks, which is not unusual.
That's typically what Caroline Leavitt would do as well.
She would come out and talk about what
the administration wanted to tout that day,
any announcements, anything that was going on.
And then she turned to questions.
Actually, let me adjust my count.
She took three questions.
They took one from the new media seat,
and then they took two others from reporters in the room.
And then she pointed to the fact that the president is leaving
the White House in 45 minutes and that he would answer questions there.
And so I'm not really sure, Wolf, that I've ever been to a press
briefing where there were only three questions in the briefing.
It was quite unusual, especially for the first press briefing,
which, you know, was widely touted by the White House
and announced by the president.
They did make some news during
that where Katie Zachariah announced that the president has asked
the ambassador to Greece, Kimberly Guilfoyle,
to resign from her job following
that damning Wall Street Journal report with those allegations
that she was basically trying to get Trump donors to fund her
in exchange for giving access to administration officials, something
that Kimberly Guilfoyle, I'll note, has denied through her attorneys.
but regardless the white house seems to feel
that she should resign from that position and the
president has asked her to do so um but yeah wolf i'm just i've i'm
a little surprised i've never
really seen a briefing where there weren't
um i mean i've seen a few where there's only a couple
of questions but i've never seen one where there
was only three questions taken during an entire
press briefing so that was unusual
so i'm not really sure i'm sure i mean it started 15 minutes
ago, so I don't really know what to say.
So here's what Caitlyn forgot to mention.
Right after that briefing,
Katie was reportedly heading the Air Force One with the president
flying to Alaska. Sorry, Katie,
Air Force One doesn't wait for your follow-up. It's a plane.
It's not a CNN panel. It actually goes somewhere.
And get this, she reportedly had about 70 hours
to get ready for this job. 70 hours.
Like most people need 70 hours just to pick a paint color.
So, let's go ahead and recap, shall we?
Brand new job, three days to prep, barely, a flight with the
president, and CNN's biggest complaint
is that she didn't stay late enough to get yelled at by CNN?
20 minutes is more attention than CNN gets from most viewers.
Nobody owes CNN anything,
especially not overtime.
Oh, and then, right on cue, Jen Psaki showed up. Over at MSNBC,
Jen called Katie's briefing basically an SNL skit,
and then she promised that she'd have a lot more
to say that night at 9 p.m. Wow, big announcement.
I'm pretty sure all 10 of her viewers cleared
their schedules just to watch. Okay, maybe five.
And one of them is her mom. Two of them are there
just because the remote's broken.
Peppermint Patty has thoughts, folks. Look, stop the presses.
So here's what's so rich about this.
Jen Psaki, she's grading somebody else's press briefing.
Jen Psaki, of all people, guys,
this is like a guy who failed his driving test 11 times
writing a review of your parallel parking.
Remember, she did work for Joe Biden. Her
whole job was explaining what Joe meant to say.
Which, let's be honest, this was a full-time job.
Even Joe couldn't even do it. So now, she's the expert?
The woman who lifted the podium?
She wants to grade somebody else's homework?
Let's go ahead and pull her report card, shall we?
So here's Jen Psaki's greatest hits.
No clip required. I'll go ahead and read it to you.
I'll circle back. We'll circle back.
Happy to circle back. I'll have to circle back on that
one. Great question. We'll circle back.
I hate to disappoint you, but you guessed it. I'll have
to circle back over and over and over and over.
She circled back so many times. She should be
getting paid in mileage. She's got to be dizzy as hell by now.
Somewhere, a NASCAR driver watched
her briefings and said, slow down, lady.
That was the job. Ask a question, get a circle. Ask
another one. Get another circle.
Two years of geometry class with a podium. She had all these
compasses everywhere.
And this is the person calling Katie Zachariah a joke? Katie reads her
notes. Jen reads her escape routes.
Katie answered three questions. Jen answered roughly zero at
length. She dodged for a living. Now she's a critic?
Really? In honor of Jen, I'd love to
finish that thought. But I'll have to circle back.
So now here's where it gets good, guys.
Megyn Kelly jumped in, and Megyn
is not exactly President Trump's biggest cheerleader. They have
had their moments. She's not sending him birthday cards.
So when Megyn Kelly says the left went too
far, they went way too far. Now, her point is simple.
The same pundits screaming about
Katie's first briefing, they're the same people
who told us that Karine Jean-Pierre was amazing
at the job. Amazing.
And if you disagreed, well, clearly you were a bigot.
Case closed. Go to your
room. You guys remember those briefings.
Karine Jean-Pierre reading from a binder like it was a
hostage note, flipping through the pages,
looking for answers that weren't even in there. Every
briefing felt like watching somebody parallel park
a school bus. But that was brilliant,
apparently. Katie reads her notes on day one
and suddenly it's a disaster. Karine reads her binder
for two years. Historic. You guys see the trick, right?
Same podium, same job, totally different
rules. All right. So here, let's be real for a second.
Nobody noticed. Well, you noticed. We
noticed. Everybody noticed. Katie is not Caroline Leavitt.
But here's the thing. Nobody is Caroline
Leavitt. I don't know if you noticed,
but I'm actually not Caroline Leavitt. I know. I know
you were confused. You were confused. I'm not.
Caroline didn't answer questions. She ate them
for breakfast. Reporters watched it.
Reporters walked in with gotchas and walked out needing
a nap and a hug and a weighted blanket.
Following Caroline, it's kind of like going on stage
right after Elvis. You could be great.
You'd still hear somebody yelling, where's Elvis?
That's just the way it is. Anybody would sound like
a rookie after Caroline. This is not
an insult to Katie. It's a compliment to Caroline.
And notice the pattern, guys. President Trump
keeps picking fighters, young, sharp,
not scared of the press, people who walk into
the storm. Now compare.
Jen Psaki and Karine Jean-Pierre spent years defending Joe Biden.
This is not a press job. This is a hostage negotiation where
the hostage keeps wandering
off the stage. Trump picks fights for America.
Biden's picks fought to find the exit. That's
the difference. Now, we're not CNN, folks.
We're going to be honest. Was it perfect? No,
of course not. She read a lot. She looked down a lot.
She was nervous. You could see it. Katie,
if you're watching, eyes up. The notes aren't going anywhere.
The reporters are the ones that
are trying to run. But let's be fair, folks.
It's her first day, roughly 70 hours of prep
reportedly, and a room full
of reporters circling like sharks that smell blood,
every one of them is praying for one slip-up
so they can play it on loop until Christmas.
You ever start a new job, day one, you can't even find the bathroom?
She had to find the bathroom
and face CNN on day one. So here's the good news, folks.
Conservatives are like fine wine.
We get better with time. Every briefing,
she's going to get sharper, she's going to get faster,
she's going to get tougher. And you know what?
Nervous and honest beats smooth and lying every
single time. Nervous on day one beats lying on day 1,000.
So why the meltdown, really? I mean,
Christian, mother of four, attorney, pro-life,
America first, everything that they mocked for
years standing at the podium.
And here's the part that really stings. More alternative media is
reportedly getting press passes.
More seats for new voices means fewer for the old ones. CNN is
not scared of Katie. CNN is scared of losing its share.
President Trump's verdict? I thought it
was very good. Short review, 5 stars.
Now watch the contrast. The same media machine
trashing Katie is busy shining up Gavin Newsom for 2028.
Brand new teeth whitening. Fresh
hair gel. Same old California. Oh, and the midterms?
Democrats have openly talked about
impeachments. A new speaker
and killing the filibuster if they take Congress. So show
up, folks. Bring your neighbor.
Bring your cousin who doesn't do politics. Make it too
big to rig. They melted down before she said a word.
Now imagine what happens when she finds
her stride. Now folks, they wrote the review before
the show started. They booed before the
curtain went up and somehow we're the ones who are unhinged.
Go ahead and send this to one person
who still trusts the media, just one.
Now if this video made you laugh or fired you up or both,
hit the like button on your way out.
One second costs you nothing and it bugs CNN way more than
it should. Now if you're not subscribed yet,
go ahead and fix that. We call it like we see it
and we never circle back,
hit subscribe so you don't miss what's coming up next.
Legacy Media is about to lose some seats in that briefing room
and they're not taking it well.
This means more spin, more hit pieces,
and more stories buried right when the midterms
decide what happens to your taxes,
to your grocery bill, and your retirement. Don't wait
for Jen Psaki to circle back with the truth.
She won't. Join the Ron Yates Report newsletters
totally free. I left a link for you in the description.
Think of it as your own front
front row press pass, no lanyard required.
