INGREDIENTS for a 28 cm pan:
4 medium eggs
pinch of salt
200 g sugar
16 g vanilla sugar
160 g odorless vegetable oil
280 ml kefir
320 g flour
2/3 tsp baking soda
2 large apples for filling (approx. 400 g)
5 large apples for decoration (approx. 1 kg)
Bake the pie in a preheated oven at 180°C on the middle rack, top-bottom setting, without convection, for about 1 hour and 10 minutes, until a skewer comes out clean.
2 tbsp Apricot jam for the pie topping
