Give Away The Work First, Get Paid $100 Every Month After

So this is Eden Lawn Care and Tree Service. So it's a real company right here in Lincoln, been going since 1987, which is also when I was born. So I've been going since 1987, but this is their actual website and this is their actual logo here. It's just their name, uh, typed out. And in about five minutes, this is what I created for them. They didn't ask me for it. They haven't replied to me. I've not sent them an invoice, but this is the entire play. This is what I've been doing recently is you do work for free first since AI makes it so easy. Do the work first before anybody hires you, then you can offer the thing that you already made and ask them to pay. But I'm going to show you this whole thing on camera right now, find them, build it, send it. And then I'll show you the offer that I'm giving it to them to try and get a sale. So first off, I run a company called JP web, very creative, James Pelton web. That's how engineers name things. But I run that here in Lincoln. I build and maintain websites for local companies and I've been mainly focused on HVAC right now. They just need a lot of websites. I charge a hundred dollars a month, nothing down. And that covers hosting security, SEO, upkeep changes, whatever. And I send them the website first before I ask them to pay anything. And I have real customers as part of this business right now. PaintNebraska.com is a recent one. Bryce, shout out to him. And I want to show you today how I do cold outreach. So I do the branding for free first and use that as kind of an in as the way in and then move on to the website and getting that hosting service and getting money on the backend. And you kind of have to do that. Cold outreach is completely just completely saturated nowadays. People are so tired of getting pitched left and right. So what I've found is if you want to cut through the noise and you want to get, you know, get an in is you provide value first for free. And that's basically I'm providing value for you to read my email. That's the exchange. So the first way I would do this over the weekend, I have a lawn service that comes in Moe's My Lawn and I thought, Hey, these lawn services probably need websites as well and they need branding. They need help with things like that as well. So what I do, I just go to Google Maps and I just type in lawn care. It knows I'm in Lincoln, Nebraska, so it starts there, but it doesn't even have to be local. I'm doing everything over the computer. So I could, you know, go to other cities as well. But what you do here is you get a list of lawn care companies. Google Maps is great for this finding businesses. And then what I do is I open the websites for these. I just opened a new tab, all of these different websites, and I just kind of look at them and I look at, Hey, have they put effort into this? I go down and see if I can find a copyright date. That's a good tell that they haven't put work into their website is if the copyrights, you know, 2015 or something like that. Um, I also look, does it, you know, does it look nice? Are they probably happy with it? Do they feel like it probably needs some help? Some companies like Yard Boss is a franchise, so that's probably not one I'd be interested in. Moku was one copyright 2025 so that's, you know, it's a little old, but that's where I found this Eden Lawn Care and Tree Service. And I think this is a prime candidate for a new website, although they have copyright 2025 the website looks like a template, not even a template. It's just a very simple website and no logo, no branding, no anything like that. So this seems like a perfect offer. I'll give you branding and then I can say, here's also a website. Do you want to pay to get this website? And one concern is if they've been around since 1987 that's 38 years and they haven't seen fit to get a logo. I mean, they're doing something right. They've been around a long time. Maybe it's just not important to them. So you know, this pitch might not work, but what I love about Lovart is it's so low effort for me to put this together. It doesn't hurt to just send out this pitch. It takes me hardly any time. And if you aren't familiar with Lovart, it is my AI design tool of choice right now. It's working great for any design projects or tasks that I need done. Lovart has handled them better than anything else. So they are my go-to AI design tool right now. So I just hopped into Lovart and right away I just said, build a logo and brand set for Eden Lawn Care and Tree Service, a lawn care and tree service company in Lincoln, Nebraska, family run, been around since 1987. Give them details about the company that helps AI put together what a good logo would look like. And it came up with kind of three ideas here. This actually kind of mimics the Nebraska state seal if you didn't know that, but that's pretty cool. The second one, a little bit simpler and a third one, kind of a combination of the two explained why it came up with what it came up with. Direction one, direction two and direction three. So right off the bat, I have three logos I could potentially send them. And again, took no time at all. So it's no work. Hey, I came up with these logos. Are you interested in them? You can have them for free. But I wanted to take it a little bit further. So I decided on logo three here and I said use direction three. The rustic modern stamp make me three things. This business would actually use a truck door decal, a yard sign for a finished lawn and a Facebook cover photo. Same colors throughout. Don't put on the phone number, website address, yada, yada. And I love this because it helps the customer visualize how this logo would be used. So I don't just send them a logo, but I say, Hey, you could actually put this on your, your truck. You could put this on a yard sign. And I really like what it came up with here. So when I actually want to make a change, I like that Facebook cover image for the truck and the lawn sign. Let's do put a phone number and a website URL. Take their URL. Because what I thought about was that actually if you have this on the truck, you actually want a way for them to contact you. So let's go ahead and just make this little change. So then it asks for their phone number. I'll go ahead and put this one in here. So then it's getting to work on this. But I think this is maybe the easiest to get started. And one of the least utilized AI side hustles that are out there. And if you do it locally, there's not going to be a ton of competition. So we got the phone number on there and the website on both. So yeah, I think this looks pretty good to go. So then I'm just going to hop over to my email. So and it doesn't actually look like Eden has an email, so I could use Facebook messenger. I could give them a call. What I'm going to do is I'm going to throw all this stuff into a Google drive and then just send it to them on there. We'll just use the ones that I ended up going with. So I download all of them. Go over to Google drive and let's just throw them in here real quick. Oh, and I'll just put my name, my email address in here. I'm basically just saying, Hey, I saw your lawn care work around Lincoln made you a logo yours to yours to keep. If you want, I just have to grab those links from here. All right. Then I can go ahead and hit send. So that is one done. It takes me, I can do one of these about every three minutes. So, you know, you could spend an hour and you know, get 15 of these done, whatever. So that is my outreach strategy. But you'll notice what I didn't do because I just know how cold outreach works. I didn't ask for a meeting. I didn't ask them to hop on a call. Um, I didn't even tell them about my rates or what I charge or anything like that. I just gave them something for free, some value. If they open that, there'll be some value there. They might not want to use it, but it's at least some value for them. Then if they like the work I've already done for them, that's the end. Then we can set up a call to talk about the website. So, and really my end goal for this, the way I would make money is if they want me to build them a website and host it, um, I could do a hundred dollars a month. I could probably be flexible on the price because my margins are very high. It's basically AI setting it all up. So my costs are pretty low, but if you can get a hundred dollars a month, you get 10 customers, a thousand dollars a month, a hundred customers, that's $10,000 a month. And now you have a business replace your job, um, by just getting, you know, a hundred of these people to say yes. So I would love for all of you. I get emailed every single day saying, Hey, what side hustle should I try? What side hustle should I try? Here's an idea. You can go and run with this.
