Hello guys, welcome back to my channel. Welcome back to a new vlog. This is a very spontaneous start to the vlog. I wasn't even planning on vlogging actually, but I'm having a bit of a home day. I've got to stay at home today because I'm getting My old car is being collected and they haven't even, I haven't even heard from them yet. So I'm hoping they'll, it's now midday I'm hoping they'll at some point reach out and say that the driver's at least on their way to come and collect the car because I literally haven't heard anything from them for since we booked the appointment. So That's not a good sign I do think they're meant to call an hour before they get here and it could be at any point today. So long story short We're having a bit of a home day. I'm not really out and about. We actually have, speaking of home day Is this not like the most home comfort drizzly day thing? Something in the oven all day. Tom prepared this yesterday and oh, you can't really see it because obviously it's covered in foil But I'll show you later when we have it for our dinner because it is possibly one of the easiest meal, meals to prep Once you've got the ingredients, I mean again, I'll show you later. I need to put it in a foil tray so there's no mess, no cleanup involved Yeah, super easy, we've got like meat and then underneath is like potatoes, carrots I actually didn't watch him prepare it. So I don't know exactly what's in it. I'll show it to you later, but just as a suggestion possibly As we are leaning into the cozier months Although I have some bad news. I read on the news One if not, two more heatwaves due to come at the end of August and start of September. That is not giving autumn vibes so even, even the summer lovers are calling for a bit of rain because we've not even had like heavy rain really so Just the odd little drizzle here and there which is the perfect kind of weather for me But the grass needs it. Everywhere you go it just looks barren Which is actually quite sad given that it's such a green country But anyway, enough of the weather. I'm going to talk about the weather in our period. I don't know what it is We don't need to keep going on about it. Well, maybe we do because that's just That's just what we do. But yeah, I'm just unloading the dishes. What do I have to do today to share with you? I've got some I did a bit of a restock of some basic capsule pieces that I can wear during pregnancy It's a little bump update. We're about 21, 22 weeks now. I still, every time I walk past the mirror, I'm just like oh, oh I'm just so grateful for Finally being in this position that I Just love my bump so much I love being pregnant and I hate to be that person because I know a lot of people really struggle in pregnancy and Actually don't enjoy the process of being pregnant. I love it. Even though we've had complications in the past and yes that brings on a bit of anxiety But even the other two pregnancies that I've had prior to this one Each time I was just so Grateful to be pregnant that I just yeah, I just love my little bump So I bought some new capsule bits similar to kind of what I'm wearing because I feel like this is going to be an autumn winter Staple everyday type outfit for me. They're maternity leggings, which are very comfortable. These ones are the Which ones are these? I've got a couple of pairs now. I've got Hilara which are my main ones. I Think I've got some from Amazon, you know, my Amazon Lululemon dupe leggings that I like they do a maternity pair. So I've ordered these ones actually might be those ones and so I've ordered them and I've been wearing them and I ordered from Tala as well because they do a maternity pair and I have tried them on they've arrived I'll show you those as well, but Unfortunately, I've ordered two things and only one item was in the package yet the whole package is saying delivered so I did reach out to customer service and I'm just waiting to hear back, but it's a bit awkward that isn't it because it's it's like who's to say I'm not just lying and trying to get away with getting an extra free pair of Bottoms or like whatever the item Because there's no real proof The proof is the delivery of the product which I can say and I did say an email Was hand-delivered to me at the door. It wasn't left anywhere. It was hand-delivered. I took the delivery myself. I Opened it as soon as it arrived Keen to get in it There was only one night the one item so I ordered essentially the maternity leggings in black The maternity wide leg legging in a chocolate brown color and they just weren't included in the package not really sure What they can do about that other than just trust me. I've got some other probably basics including More of these tops. This was actually the longline version But I have a few of the baby tees which sit a bit higher which I quite like as well And the maternity leggings for child sit a bit lower as well, which is just another option to have but these basic baby tees These are in a large and this one. I have had since pre-pregnancy. So just proof that You know like this the amount of stretch and comfort for them for a form-fitted top they're just such a good classic staple basic, but I Feel like I will always Continue to purchase every now and then it is quite nice to just stock up on a fresh Fresh set And those to show you What the dinner to show you later? I am still organizing and sorting through a little bit of my Filming room wardrobe room new drawers that I've got in there so you can maybe go upstairs and do some of that in a bit But otherwise welcome back to my channel, hope you're all doing really well It's not the most ideal place to film I was gonna say because I'm gonna move it back like that actually It doesn't look too bad I've just been sat doing some work and some emails and editing and sorting bits out and I Came across some images that I created on chat GPT. So I thought I'd share them with you I've already shared them on Instagram, but it's kind of mock-ups of Initial concepts and ideas of our playroom and our nursery. I Have to just apologize for the baby chat whenever it's a home vlog Or I'm vlogging at home and not out and about in the shops. It's just all I'm thinking about and Like the exciting part of my life. So I appreciate it's not for everyone. And so yeah apologies for the mom chat Just skip forward if you're not interested But some of you even if you don't have kids like coming from someone who at one point didn't even know if she wanted children then I Still loved watching my youtubers Talk and navigate that chapter of their life talk about that. So anyway, I Mocked up some in fact, I'll put them on image on the images on screen so you can see them in better quality I essentially chat GPT is just if you don't use it, it is brilliant So I put in a couple of images of what is the current nursery room? So this image here you can see in the background where the window ledge is. There's an actual a crack which I've just kind of scraped out ready to be refilled and Painted over and you might be able to tell from this image as well But the walls are a bit of a creamier white you can kind of see the difference with the skirting boards being white white and I do quite like that creamy color what we might do with the Entryway into the bathroom just for safety more than anything either put up a temporary gate or like divide The initial idea was always to have a sliding door on that wall I do think it's quite actually quite handy having a space in there with a little sink toilet And I can put like nappy bin in there There's a little cupboard in there for storage for a few bits and bobs as well So as well as the shower, which we never use and probably won't use but it is quite handy to have that space I think so even if initially like I say a temporary we probably won't need anything for straightaway but as baby gets a bit older a bit more mobile to maybe add some kind of a gate on there and Keep the blinds. I love the blinds that we've got in there. Just a nice linen II fabric They're the only blinds that we have in our house throughout the whole of upstairs and they are from done L going over to some inspo images. This is something that I saw on Pinterest and Loved I know it looks basic, but well, we don't know babies gender Any kind of like accessories and fun bits that we can have or maybe receive or go out about shopping We can add in after babies here because baby's not gonna be a nursery straightaway anyway so we've got time to evolve and finish the nursery anyway, and I do love the simplicity of this the creamy warm tone on the wall. I love those lines I'm not gonna be changing the blinds Linen kind of fabric chair a bit like the rocking chair that we've got in the black room, which might even go upstairs the dark furniture Drawers that we could maybe have as a changing table on top the cot white or dark and wood Not sure yet, which will go for love the floor lamp in there as well. Actually, that's a nice idea Given that we don't have wall lights in there a nice floor lamp like that and I bet Zara home do some like that This is another image big rug on the floor. We would love even though we have carpet up there and Because it's a spare room and it's pretty clean and untouched We may look to change the carpet at some point We may end up keeping them if we do keep them or regardless even if we did change them I would quite like a big nice cozy super soft cream throw in there, so throw rug or even because it is quite a small room, even if we went all white with the furniture and Had accents throughout elsewhere with the dark. You remember that rattan? Vintage style from down there hamper the laundry hamper But that kind of dark tones dark wooden photo frames that kind of thing We can have other accents that little rocking horse is cute. So anyway, the chatty BT image is not to scale and it is kind of disproportionate, but just so that you get a visualization of the idea of the Room itself. Let me have a look. Yes. They've done a bit of a color scheme. They've done some key pieces for furniture Gender kept it gender-neutral. They've done a floor plan and they've put something in the en suite which wouldn't fit the changing table That would have been good, but it's the en suite is too small. It will have to go in the room but again, it's kind of visualized in these images with the Darker cot the lighter furniture the lighter Wardrobes that could be an option the lighter chair It was added a bit of paneling if that's something that we want to do again There's elements of this that are wrong because of where the radiator is cot next to radiator Photo frame above a car like all things like that. Obviously take this with a pinch of salt. This is just a very quick mock-up that wouldn't necessarily be the final result and then for the playroom downstairs the Black room we toyed with the idea of lightening it up and I did ask on Instagram what you guys thought about doing that a lot of you said keep black and white because initially for baby where they see and Black and white, you know as more interactive and it's good for them that actually that might be quite a good thing and to be fair the Images that they have mocked up Do look really cozy really nice. I do still like the black however, I think I'm swaying more towards lightening it up and Just brightening the space make it a bit more inviting we can add I mean, obviously these images what the dream playroom would be like, it's not gonna look quite that aesthetic I can assure you I'm sure there'll be plenty of Colorful toys in there too. Don't you worry about that? I don't want the color place to come for me But as an initial blank canvas with the baskets on the bookshelves the teddy bears the books I'd love to like strip that bookcase out and start afresh with like I said baskets chip a child-friendly books They are some concepts. I thought I would show you I Blumen love Chachi beauty. It's also basically my therapist I'll skip everything. Oh Is it dangerous to rely on it as much as I do, but I just think it's so good This is a welcome delivery Actually good timing because this bunch here is on its last legs and I love having a bunch of flowers here I think the best thing for this is to have flowers here constantly or something here But then have a little chunky photo But some kind of chunky little frame here maybe even two stacked or a like a longer vertical one with maybe like a strip of like a Vintage photo album shirt. I've got one by my bed. I absolutely love from puppies in America when we went to New York and we could maybe We can maybe do a new one actually with bump involved and Barney involved There's a vintage photo booth in town that we could go to create a new one and have that there So yeah, I do quite like this placement and that might be something that I end up doing. But let's get these in a vase and See how they look they always look kind of like in front a little bit with bloom when you first arrived Oh, sorry, I need put some blondies in there to Love a blondie. My sweet tooth is very much thankful. That's a thank you to bloom and why? There's some pinks in here We don't know My battery's about to run out so I need to go and grab another one, but just a quick taste test of these blondies. Oh Wow, do you get to this size? Hmm That's sweet. This is gonna show you this But I'm wearing it today As a bit of an alternative to that green denim jacket that I always wear from H&M with this kind of an outfit Sainsbury's of all places and I think it was about 19 pounds and I did size up to a 16 Just so it's nice and long with me to be able to wear leggings open Yeah, I thought I would show you that in case you're interested It's a really nice denim like shade if you know what I mean The only downside I would say is the fact that it's popper buttons That's a bit of a letdown, but it was 19 pounds. I really can't complain. Oh, we're upstairs I thought I would come up here because I wanted to well I was trying on some bits from Abercrombie that I've got and I've got a box here as well from pretty lavish That we've yet to try on some bits and I thought you know what? Let's actually pick up the camera show you guys as I'm trying on big light on It's a good day when you have to put big light on It's feeling cozy how many times can one person say cozy in this season, but I just love it so much Anyway, this top is like one of their basic tees from Abercrombie This is more of an essentials fit and in a large so I mean it's quite hard to see back on camera But then I also picked up two of their baby tees, which are a bit more fitted I'll show you in the gray so you can see a bit better. See how this one's just a bit more Fitted now I used to love wearing these pre a pre a pre to pregnancy prior to pregnancy anyway But they just sit quite nicely on bump if I'm wanting to kind of like have an outfit where I'm like I don't know. I just feel like it's actually a bit more flattering to wear tight clothes on bum But it's not tight and uncomfortable. So this is in a large. I've got two gray two black and two White one of which is already in the wash because I've worn that already and I also picked up this one This is a baby tea as well Yeah They do in an extra large this one because it's the double layered one and they have the t-shirts in the double lined I actually prefer the single lined but in the long sleeve and I went for the double lined thicker cosier cosier Top a bit exposing. I'll show you anyway these bras. I've actually just ordered some more of the Sluggy, these are the bralettes that they do so it's not there's no class for anything and it's quite a full Bralette, this is in a large and I have the nude version as well in a medium. I thought I'm gonna get another large From sluggy themselves. I did get them from Amazon These ones but they were cheaper on Amazon at the time and now what they weren't So I'll see which one's the cheaper version by the time I'm editing this video and link that one in the description box below but they're brilliant for just like everyday comfort and They've got removable padding in as well Super soft doesn't feel like that. You're wearing a bra, but quite supportive Okay. Yeah, this is the baby tea long-sleeve version Nice and warm when it does start to get a bit cooler. What else have I bought? I've got a couple of these vests and These ones I've got in a large. I know I didn't I've got an extra large I didn't think they felt a bit big I probably could have got away with a large actually in these but I'll try on the white and then I've got a couple of knit wear pieces that guess what guys so Goosey, so this is the vest just a standard vest. It's got the inbuilt support as well. So it's like an extra Layer of support and that's where that's a little bit baggy for me So hence why I probably could have got away with a large but I do feel like I don't want anything tight and restricted there I don't feel like any masses of support It's more just to have that extra layer. And then this is one of the cardigans that I've got. So it's made with It's a merino wool blend yarn. I am a bit picky when it comes to knit wear if it's itchy Can't stand for it, honestly And it feels like pajamas. It's that comfortable and soft and so obviously it could be worn open I did go for a size and oversized fit anyway a large this one is and just have that kind of slouchy slub style Cardi that I could could do up could leave undone As like a cozy cozy little layer I'm annoying myself now. I need to need to stop with the coziness. I can feel myself Living in this I love a long sleeve On any kind of like a jumper cardigan, it just Feels so inviting and warm and or could just cuddle up with a hot chocolate speaking of which hotel chocolate I've brought out new Chocolate flakes that you can put on top of your hot chocolate and my goodness when hot chocolate season gets here I feel like it's a bit too hot just yet for me. Oh, you know what I could actually have a hot chocolate I Could next movie night where it is a bit cooler. I've got my coat my cozy cardigan on Oh, we have a cozy hot chalk And I really want to get some of those from hotel chocolate the flakes that you can pop on top of your hot chocolate Can't wait right and then this is the other one This is a marina wool blend again in a large and this one's a creamier color that I actually think is gonna be so Practical and I'm gonna get a lot of wear out of Even without necessarily anything on underneath, but and again, none of these are like maternity these are things I can wear throughout my pregnancy journey with the amount of stretch that they've got and Comfortability nice material as we're leading into those cooler months, but absolutely, we'll keep this for post-pregnancy and even Yeah Postpartum should be fine. So I kind of have been wearing it Well when I've tried it on just pull it up slightly and let it hang over I mean imagine this is like a black watch. It's all right with white but a another layer Just to break up from the leggings or if I didn't have that layer Do you see what I mean? Just kind of hold it up and then just let it fall so it's a bit of a cropped look But you can see bum so you can see I'm pregnant and not just like an awkward blunt Which is fine. That's the case But yeah, this one's got a kind of slash neck that you could wear off shoulder You could wear just off one shoulder with a vest you could wear Without but just like a little strapless bra run underneath Just have you know shoulder out and Yeah, I really like it. And again incredibly soft and comfy. So another one that I feel I'm gonna wear And a lot I have ordered some maternity jeans that I've hopefully if they work They're my dream maternity jean pad. I ordered some jeans from Abercrombie. I'm not even gonna try them on I've actually already returned them, but they were like the ultra low-rise baggy Thinking that I'd be able to get away with below bump. They just didn't fit right they were uncomfortable I thought no, but H&M have brought out these Mama from their mama range Aren't they cold? they're essentially a jean which I love the look of because they don't have the big belly band or like the The kind of stretchy elastic Material on the sides either they do have a bit of stretch, but it's more just a gathered Waste that slightly stretches and you can wear them below bump and they look really nice I've ordered a few because I don't know what size I am gonna be in them and I thought if they do work then They will be the jean to wear during pregnancy and postpartum I feel like jeans honestly and Leggings are really the only thing that you need to get maternity if you want to wear leggings and jeans But the rest of my wardrobe, I don't think I'm gonna buy any other maternity stuff. I really like some of the bits on What's the brand called? It's quite expensive though. Hold on. I need to google it. Bump suit. That's it But yeah, I was having a look and they're actually quite expensive So I was having a look on vintage but a lot of people were saying that a Negative review and that they pick up a lot of lint and all the ones on vintage that were listed I've noticed a lot of lint on the dresses. So it kind of put me off. I do feel like leading into the autumn winter Maybe I won't need them Might go for more of like a knitted option like this with maybe a knitted skirt This set as it stands the bottoms are a bit too big for me and an extra large But with the room for growth and they're just a comfy round the house Lounge which honestly I know I seem to buy a lot of but that's what I wear day to day And this is sort of one that you could just pop out and run an errand to to the shop because you're not sat in Pajamas you're in a lounge set and this one comes with a t-shirt Material is so nice. It's from the yeah the lounge collection the t-shirts Green and cream stripe and then they also have a long-sleeve version So I've bought both to try and I like the material that much that I ended up keeping both I feel like the top maybe looks a little bit pajama like but if you wore this with jeans I don't think it would These are the trousers see they they do stay up But they are quite long on me with it being below bump. So if I wear it above bump That's where I've got that bit of extra room still for growth so They kind of slip down at the minute but This set is I can't tell you how comfy the materials that Abercrombie do right So where I've been showing a few clothes lately trying to suss out what fits my new body What I think I'm gonna wear I've been doing Holes, but I don't keep hardly Like keep hardly anything. I'll keep like a hand selected pick of a few items I really like I've already tried on this Abercrombie order and returns the bits that I don't want So everything that I'm showing you here, I'm keeping I love it that much but yeah, this is the long-sleeve top version and then I'll just show you the T-shirt I'm trying on plans. It's like a workout these days. Oh this set guys just get it bumpers bumping with the stripes the horizontal stripes Yeah, it's a little bit of sisters and seekers do a lot of stripes. Don't they fourth and reckless now Abercrombie but this is What a bit similar to what that bump suit would sell actually and that's what kind of Made me look to Find a cheaper alternative and Amazon has come through because the material of this is like the buttery soft It's got the hidden support. So no need for a bra It's got the excess fabric to be able to wear over bump But they do have no maternity versions as well if you just want a all-in-one jumpsuit and I would wear something like this with a Little jacket shirt thrown over the top Again it's more like an everyday running errands out and about pop into the shops going for brunch that kind of thing and This shirt is Sainsbury's but yeah So comfy and an all-in-one. How easy is that? I do have one pair of leggings to try on from Tala Let me try them on so these in comparison to the pair that I showed you at the start And I know it seems like I've got a lot of pairs of leggings So these Very comfortable over bump. These are the maternity version They do have non maternity version in these and these are just like the standard leggings the wider like once I did order and didn't Arrive they have got back to me. There was a supply or stock issue and they don't actually have them anymore. So I've just been refunded for that But I have decided to keep this one I like the fact that the maternity band just it's a little bit lower on the ones that I've already got They're very high though. I almost have to tuck them under this this little bra that so They'll be good as bump gets bigger. But for now Then the band you can kind of post pregnancy You can fold over the band and have or I suppose you could even fold it over with a bump But if you prefer to have your bump out it has the band that you can fold over I prefer them up though. Do you have a big box from pretty lavish to try on now? So let's just have a breather Jump straight into it with this order from pretty lavish. I've ordered lots of knitwear options I've got a couple of sets a couple of skirts Dresses and my plan isn't to keep all of these it was to buy a few different styles some of these if not all of them were in the sale and I wanted to try on and find a couple of staples that hopefully I will like and wear throughout autumn and winter as a nice comfy option that is Yeah bump friendly as well like not that these are maternity necessarily this one's too big I've ordered an extra-large in this and it's far too big It's the most unflattering thing when something is this big and doesn't actually like properly show off bump. It needs to be Much more fitted. I feel this one is in a large and again. It's probably a bit too big for me it's maxi to the floor and it is and Actually a bit long for me if anything, but again, it just feels like it doesn't quite like figure hug bump, but more just six Do you know I mean it just doesn't isn't is better It's definitely better than the other one and this one's like a bootleg kind of fabric for coming a bit closer That is gorgeous. I do love the fabrics that they use it pretty lavish, especially for their knitwear, right? This is actually a cohort. We've got jumper and knitted skirt Again, I think I've gone too big I probably need to stay true to size with their things rather than size up for maternity as an option I just don't think I need to this skirt. However is fine skirts in a large. It's got a bit of Movement, so I don't like anything too tight cross bump and obviously like I said, I am only gonna get bigger I do like this the jumper. I've got an enlarged broken enlarged and it does feel a bit on the oversized side that Left out. I don't think that's the most flattering look. I'll be honest. I'm actually torn with this one I love the color of it. It's a really nice Dark brown but more of like a cool toned brown that for autumn would be so nice. Maybe even the jumper With some jeans. I just think a jumper Not fitted to a bump or like not tucked in showing a bump just is a bit on flattering This is another cohort option. I've got again got both in a large skirt and top and the skirt is lovely It's a really nice kind of cable knit. I like this as a cohort The only negative with this one. I thought this is a cardigan. I could maybe do it under a couple of buttons to Open from bump a little bit, but it's actually sewn in like this this is the design so I can't change that and Would I keep the skirt by itself? Potentially I've got another option that I think I might prefer. We'll see we have a winner. I love this This is far more what I was after in terms of a more form-fitted dress that just is a bit more figure hugging It's a bit of a lighter weight thinner knit that I think where I'm not gonna be too sweltering It's gonna be comfortable to throw on even just a little shirt jacket Like I was wearing earlier a different option to a leggings and top. You've just got a knit dress and it's quite long as well So could be worn with just some flat trainers some boots even and tights as it gets even colder again, I got this in a large and See this one in a large fits absolutely fine. Yeah, this is another option that I prefer as a more form-fitted Knit it has this slightly longer sleeves not full length though. So again, not too Sweltering in this because I do tend to get hot quite easily But I don't know. I feel like I don't have any knitwear that the sleeve length ends there It feels a bit foreign to me, but I do like this. I Also think I prefer the cream color to this one. This one's more of I actually couldn't even Describe the color of this. It's got a slight greeny undertone to it and I'm just trying to figure out if It's the right color palette for me or if it washes me out a bit I've got two things left both of which are skirts and this is the one I thought I would like and I do like it It's in a kind of creamy color. It's actually similar to the dress that I like but in just a skirt version So I might keep this one as well actually because I think I'll get a bit of use of it It's in a large and I feel like there is definitely a bit of room for growth there And I've just popped it on with a basic white tee from Abercrombie Again something where I just throw on like an over shirt or trench jacket Let me show you if I were to throw on this trench with it, which is from Zara last year yeah, I think this could kind of be a bit again of a always Always a poo bag loose poo bag in a pocket A good little go-to outfit for me is a skirt instead of a legging and if I don't like my maternity jeans To have a skirt is what I'm being drawn to when I've been looking on Pinterest and again a great one because it's not maternity you can wear it and Pregnant or not. You just try on the other one there because the other one's also a cream skirt I just feel like I want to compare the two before I make my final decision Yeah, I think I prefer the other one to this one this is very soft, but it's a bit more of a slinkier dressier kind of fabric that I Suppose you could definitely dress down and wear a bit more casually. It's a bit thinner in the very stark blank Nursery and I thought I'd just come in here quickly because I've got just one little item add to my baby roster There's a fly in here. Just open the window to let some fresh air in And it's flying straight in, brilliant. I had to take Tom to Range Rover or Land Rover in Stockport to pick up his car and Whilst I was there. I needed to take something back to TK Maxx I've got done quite a few homes since TK Maxx Halls like if you remember where I did for not too long ago where I showed a big fluffy dog bed like enough for the Wicker basket didn't fit. It was actually too small. So I had to take that back. So whilst I was in there It was kind of busy and hectic. I didn't have a proper look I just saw this on the end of an aisle in the kids section Zara kids and I was like, ooh Zara kids winter baby zero to three months Can't cope this cream colored Little snow suit Just in case we do have any kind of wintery days It's like Borg liner. Yeah, you can see there Zara and it was $12.99 it says on the label newborn, but it's not it's it's up to three months. So I think that will last the winter months at least With a new one just so that at least like I said we've got a nice cozy set and which comes to the little feet little booties and Mittens as well. Very cute. So I'll add that to my Pile of in fact, I show you that. Yeah, I don't know if I have you know, just in case I haven't I'll include it here baby. Maury. Have I shown you this? They sent me PR package remember I showed you all the sleep suits that I've bought for the baby already. Well, they've sent me Have I shown this? I need to open that because it's a bit dark Keep getting confused where I sometimes show things on Instagram and sometimes shows things on YouTube I get confused if you've seen this I'll cut this clip out if you haven't or if I'm not sure if I've shown you I'll just include anyway But yeah a PR package Some of their bits we've got a muslin Large muslin blanket.
