Ho ho ho, Merry Christmas. Welcome to November.
For anyone else who celebrates at the stroke of
midnight on Halloween.
I start my November with gift giving
content and this year I have quite
a lot of good gift ideas that I have
been thinking about throughout the entire year honestly.
So sit back, buckle up, relax, put your feet up,
grab a cuppa, light the candles, get the snacks.
Because it's about to get festive on this channel.
Very, very festive. And for those of you that
think it's a little bit too early,
I'll leave everything linked in the description box below
if you want to go back or like come back to this content.
But I like to start shopping early. I've
already started my Christmas shopping
and I think there's no harm in getting ahead of the game,
especially this year with baby on the way.
We have a Christmas baby due. So hopefully
i can get organized this year
and um for those of you that also want to get organized this year then
start of november is gifting content
so yeah welcome back to my channel welcome back to our
first gift guide of the season
and this year i'm kick-starting things with the fur babies my one
true love my baby boy my golden retriever barney
who you all know and love as well he is six now
And in honour of him, along with some other fur babies,
a lot of these items are dog specific and our lifestyle specific,
but there are certain things that have like cat versions
or you could extend it to other pets.
So let's just jump into it, shall we? Why does this get me so excited?
Okay, I'm going to kick things off with today's video sponsor
who is tails.com. And tails.com if you haven't already
heard me rave about them.
They have actually transformed our lifestyle with Barney and his
food. So he has always been a dog that is a little bit fussy
when it comes to food.
When he was really young,
he had quite a lot of digestive issues and tummy upsets that we were
back and forwards to the vets over
and kind of like concluded that it could have been as a result
of food. The food that he was on just clearly wasn't working with his
Tummy. So long story short, a family member of ours,
they had their dogs on tails.com subscription
and I made the switch myself.
And then since then have actually built up a bit of a working
relationship with them, which is amazing,
super organic and natural because we are customers of
them anyway and love their food.
So it's the reason why I like it so much. It's tailor-made
recipe
specific to your dog and their needs.
few answers to a short questionnaire such as their breed,
So you go onto their website, input a
the lifestyle, their age, their weight
and they tailor make a recipe specific to your dog as well.
to
You can even like discuss preferences
speak
of food if they are a fussy eater.
I'll leave a link to them in the description box below.
I will just mention as a good gift idea as well because you can
now.
Go onto their website.
You can actually buy the treats without needing to buy the dog food
itself. So they have such a variety of treats.
I've pulled together some of Barney's favourites,
but honestly he likes them all.
We've got some cold pressed turkey rewards and duck
rewards and these are quite small so great for training.
For a long lasting treat.
Treat.
Hoo hoo.
And he absolutely loves these pizzas.
Oh, he loves these ones as well.
They're seriously meaty burgers.
They are, they're about that big.
So sometimes even with training, I'll cut them up
or cut them up and put them in a Kong
for him to kind of like snuffle them out
because he goes mad for these.
They're like a stinky, delicious treat for him.
And then last of the treats,
I wanted to show you the Fresh Chews Daily Dental Care.
These are the large ones, seven sticks, one a day.
Fights.
Plaque and Tartar, vet approved, helps freshen breath.
The vet approved is like a big tick as well
for the whole, like the brand as a whole,
not just on their treats,
but their actual tailor-made recipes.
Created and approved by their team of nutritionists,
vets, experts in the industry,
so you know and have the confidence
that what your dog is getting is.
beneficial to them.
And I've also recently introduced some of their new recipes. I will
pop like half of one of these on top of his food
as like an extra delicious topper. And he goes
crazy for these. So this new range
of premium wet food each contains 65% even says on the thing,
65% of the meat, whether it's chicken, turkey,
lamb, beef, or duck, they're grain free. They
They include a variety of fruit and veg
and as it says on the packet as well they
They are fortified with superfoods
to support your individual dog's well-being.
They've got a chicory powder to help.
Um, their gut health, green-lipped mussel to help their joints,
and then salmon oil as well to help with their skin and coat.
Per 150 gram tray, they're only 95p,
or for a tray this size, the 300 gram tray, um, ยฃ1.65.
All of which are suitable from, um, the age of eight weeks,
so you can transition your pup onto them straight away.
The only one I think that isn't is the duck,
it's just for adult dogs, um, the tender duck.
But yeah, rustic beef, you've got succulent.
We've got a turkey, we've got aromatic lamb.
I'm sure if you asked Barney which would be his favorite,
he wouldn't even be able to give you an answer
because he loves them all so much.
But yeah, as do we.
As Barney's owners, knowing that he gets all the goodness
that he needs in his food.
So thank you to tails.com for kindly working with us.
Not just on today's video, but ongoing.
We love our partnership with tails.com.
So yeah, thanks to the team over there.
The gift wrap I'm gonna be using this year.
Santa paws is gonna be using this year.
Is this from Zara Home? It is the cutest wrapping paper.
Thank you for all of you that tagged me in this photo
or sent me a link to this because you just knew that I needed it.
Has a few different breeds on, but obviously it's got goldens on.
It's got little Jack Russells. There's little sausage dogs on here. So
Zara, thanks for providing the goods this year.
It's about ยฃ4 a roll, ยฃ4.99. If you're wanting
to get ahead of the game and think advent calendar,
I saw that Dalesford have a dog
advent calendar this year.
Now that is a bit bougie and a bit extra. I totally get it.
Wow. A recent addition to our grooming collection from Jo Malone.
You might have seen that we got
invited to an event with them in celebration
of the launch of their Wild Wash collaboration
and their scent for their shampoo that they've created.
Insane.
As again, a more premium gift idea, I think.
Actually, I say premium.
It was more affordable than I thought it would be,
especially given that it is Jo Malone.
I think it was about 14 pounds.
And then if you like the aesthetic brands,
I've got some amazing discoveries
that I've discovered over the years.
And this is one that I thought I would mention this year
by Teddy.
Guys, look at the bandana that we've got.
For Barney. Santa's little helper. I got a large for Barney.
It's a tad too big but it'll work.
They've got some gorgeous cute little jumpers for the festive season.
They also have homeware.
They've got this candle which is dog friendly,
pet safe and it's in the scent Fireside Snuggles
which is a really nice kind of smoky warm kind of scent. So we will
Start burning that soon enough.
Sticking with By Teddy just a second,
I noticed on their website that they've got some, again.
The aesthetics are beautiful but they've got some matcha type toys,
they've got some kind of like
coffee pastry bakery themed bits
which I thought would be really nice to gift to a pet owner with
a voucher for say if you did want
to do a matcha toy you could get a little blank street gift
voucher. Gales you could get a little gales voucher with one,
you could do a you know like a box of
coffee sachets if you went for like a hazelnut latte type thing.
Something kind of paired with
The dog toy would be quite nice.
Couple of practical purchases that I had to throw in here.
Firstly, my coat that I've been wearing on repeat.
I did size up to large because I do have,
I've got a little, I say little,
I've got a pregnancy bump.
I'm a couple of months away from giving birth.
So I needed the space.
But from Regatta, it was really affordable.
I got it off Amazon.
Again, I'll leave it linked as with everything.
Loads of different colours that they've got available.
They're quite affordable as well.
I think some of the colours started from about ยฃ30.
Waterproof, hood, cosy liner.
Practical purchase for a dog walking outfit.
Some kind of like boot socks, welly socks.
They could be a really nice gift to give as well to a pet owner.
Another practical purchase for some kind of like...
Can't speak.
Car seat cover.
I know that Dry Robe now do one as well.
Now Barney's not one for,
we don't often take like a ball out with us.
He is happy sniffing, playing with other dogs, socializing.
But as and when we do, like say if I need to tire him out,
The ball throwers that I've bought in the past,
I never end up keeping them or taking them with me
because they're just so impractical.
But I found a brand called Compact 9
and it's a retractable ball thrower.
So it will easily fit in a large pocket, a bag,
or whatever you've got on you.
Anthropologie always has...
Some pet associated gifts.
And I saw these playing cards,
which I thought would make for a
really nice stocking filler for a pet owner.
And again, speaking of buying for the owner,
as opposed to the dog,
Biscuteers have some pet themed biscuits.
So obviously you're buying for the human who loves their pet.
I've also seen this scratch book, my dog or cat.
This is another one that is suitable
for if you've got a cat as well.
A journal. I know I spoke a lot about Buy Teddy there,
but another brand that I love is Pet Hamper.
Again, with the aesthetics, they know what they're doing.
They've got a whole variety of toys, clothes, blankets.
They recently sent over an autumn range. It was a collab
that they did with Coco Pup and they also had some like croissant
themed items so again another option to be able
to gift the toy for the dog and then with like a
voucher for a favorite bakery
or something if you are local to our area, Dieu Prรชche la Chaquette is a
french-owned bakery that is fantastic they've actually got
a sandwich place as well called
La Picnic.
Picnic. We go there pretty much every week.
They do pup cups as well actually,
so maybe a little gift voucher for that if you are local.
Going back to kind of dog shampoo,
grooming products, Rituals do a really nice dog gift set.
A brand that I personally love
for Barney, Barber.
Barber love their dogs, the country aesthetic. He's got
his collar lead poo bag holder.
They do blankets, toys, obviously Barber little
Barber jackets, wax jackets
that you can match with your pets, poo bags.
Not only are they a practical purchase,
but there are also a couple of brands out there
that do some like funky designs or even scented ones.
Even if you were to do like a little hamper
and throw in something like a poo bag, they're
an essential.
As dog owners, we need them every day.
An experience that I wanted to recommend is...
It's always very limited availability,
so you kind of have to get in there quick
as and when they sell the tickets.
But Sea Life, I know the Trafford Centre do,
I don't know if they do them worldwide,
but they've started to do doggy days,
where tickets are very limited,
because obviously to allow for space for dogs,
if you are gonna be taking your dogs,
they don't want them too crowded, obviously.
Whenever we go to Pets at Home,
the fish tank and the rabbit section and the guinea pigs,
Barney absolutely loves just literally watching them.
He'll be like this nose to glass just
watching. So yeah, I can imagine him at Sea Life would be...
A whole different experience for him.
I know I was saying about a hamper with like poo bags,
but any kind of car caddy would also be quite handy
because it's nice to have duplicates both in your house,
but then also I always have some in the boot of my car.
I've got a section where I have basically the essentials.
So wipes, poo bags, treats.
Toys, like balls, water bottle, bowl, all of those kind of things,
I have them in my car already, a spare towel,
and even throw in there a couple of car items for the human as well,
or rituals, or Zara home car diffuser, to make your car smell nice.
I always love every year recommending some kind of portrait.
Poor PAW portrait.
Because a personalised gift like this is just so special,
one that you can keep forever.
And our friend actually recently...
Recently.
did this beautiful artwork of Barney that I thought I would recommend.
I'll leave his Instagram below
and um yeah I just it's
so special to be able to have something personalized like that. I know
Sophie Allport as well have recently introduced personalized prints
which are beautiful. I love
the aesthetic that they've done.
I actually had a portrait done at the Jo Malone event that I took
Barney to so I might even find like a vintage old dark wooden frame
and do a bit of a backdrop.
Similar to that with like a striped wallpaper or something.
A mug.
How can you not go Christmas without a mug as a hot drink lover?
And some of my favourites are my Golden Retriever ones.
Notably my Anthropologie ones.
I've got a few.
Emma Bridgewater as well.
I did spot this cap.
The Dogfather.
An essential, if you ask me, but I've noticed
a couple of caps over the years, again,
personalized to your specific breed.
And another brand that often have pet related gifting at
Christmas is Oliver Bonus.
We've got this little paws off treat bag, which I loved the look of.
Going back to experiences again,
some kind of a dog friendly staycation. If you've got a bigger
budget, Cotswolds is beautiful for that.
Very dog friendly. Another place that we loved was
called Another Place. It was a dog-friendly hotel
in Ullswater in the Lake District or even where
we went kind of like luxury camping with the unplugged cabins.
They in fact name all of their
cabins that they have after dogs.
If you do take a trip to Cotswolds the Cotswolds Zoo is dog-friendly.
I believe it's the UK's only dog-friendly zoo.
Okay and another like a child-friendly one that
One that I wouldn't have ever thought about before.
Now I'm becoming a mom very, very soon.
Some kind of personalized book, storybook
that includes your dog, includes your baby as well,
I thought was perfect for Christmas gifting.
Or they even do a Where's Wally style book
where you do a little dog search.
A little book that I thought I'd recommend
is called Dog Friendly Days Out or Dog,
there's another one like European Trips.
We're thinking about doing some kind of trip
maybe next year with
The Fam, Baby and Dog and doing a bit
of a Europe trip where we can take Barney on a bit of a road
trip and so some kind of book like
that as a recommendation for inspire places to visit.
Oh I saw this Labradors and Retrievers Sofieldport boot bag
which I thought was not only gorge but
also quite practical as well.
Again another one to maybe keep in the car or have as part of a car
hamper so that when you're going
on your dog walks you can take your boots off.
To drive and have them stored away in a nice boot bag
to avoid your car getting muddy.
Can't remember if I've recommended this one
previous year or not, but the Dog's Life album
for like a photo album, love that.
You could even go one step extra
and have a load of photos printed for that already.
A pet food mat, we have loved in the past.
Homesense TK Maxx for their seagrass ones
that they do or like I think Dunelm do one as well
and kind of along those lines as well
the Dalesford dog bowls are my favourite. They're
ceramic with the bone. Yeah love them.
Or if you wanted a footed one as one on a stand Zara Home
do a really nice range as well.
I found a couple of brands that again gorgeous aesthetic but good
for grooming tools. One called Le Flouf and one called Pupwell. So
Quite a variety of different products
that you could kind of like suit to your budget,
but some kind of dog grooming tool
that also looks gorgeous too.
Last but not least, I keep seeing this thing
pop up on Instagram.
I don't know if it's AI generated, it looks like it is.
So I don't know whether they're in production yet
or they are coming,
but the Remus Collection coffee table books,
which are breed specific,
there's loads of different breeds.
I think they've got cat versions as well
and they're chunky, big coffee table books.
that look beautiful. So hopefully they're
in production already and I can link them,
if not I'll leave maybe an Instagram
so that you can know what it is I'm talking about
and what it is that I keep seeing.
So that is everything that I have for my pets.
Gift guide for 2026. Again, a reminder,
I will leave everything linked in the description box
and right at the top of the description box,
I will make sure to include a link to tails.com
for you to also reap the rewards of transitioning
your little pooch over to their tailor-made food
for your dog. And thanks to them for working
with me on today's video. Thanks to you guys
