AMAZING Cooper Flagg Pre-Draft Update...

We have an amazing Cooper Flag pre-draft update and with the conclusion of the NBA Finals we're only days away from the NBA Draft where we'll all hear with the number one overall pick the Dallas Mavericks select Cooper Flag. And just last week Cooper Flag did spend two days in Dallas where he was wined and dined and also had a portion of his trip spent on the court to show the organization as well as a few other players exactly what he's going to bring to Dallas. And according to reports he blew everybody away and in this video we're going to take a look at what happened on his trip to Dallas as well as go over an article that highlights exactly what Cooper Flag will bring to the Mavericks and fans should be excited. But how's it going everybody? My name is Marcel Martin and this is Mavericks Digest bringing you the latest news on everything Mavericks related. And before we get started with today's video we're currently sitting at 21,102 subscribers getting oh so close to 22k each and every day. But if you want to be up to date on everything Mavericks related all summer long make sure you subscribe so you don't miss out on a single thing we do. But the Dallas Mavericks are only a few days away from saving the organization after almost demolishing the organization just a few months ago. As we all know we were gifted from Adam Silver the number one overall pick and has been reported by everybody and it's not a surprise we are going to be drafting Cooper Flag. And with that news he did visit Dallas just a few days ago. If we look at the report right here Cooper Flag has arrived in Dallas for his visit with the Mavericks today per Mike Curtis. He's expected to have a light workout meet with the Mavericks players to discuss team culture have a dinner with Nico Harrison and more. And following that report Mark Stein on Cooper Flag's workout in Dallas yesterday saying impressive that's all I just keep hearing I have to say the early rumbles I've heard that you know shot looks pretty damn good from what they're saying on the streets. And that right there is very very important. One of the very few things that people were holding against Cooper Flag was his ability to shoot the ball. A lot of people that have seen Cooper Flag play or know Cooper Flag personally have always said that all he cares about is winning doing all the small things that needs to be done to win. There was a story posted just a few days ago from someone close to Cooper Flag about how just in the third grade he would be getting rebounds from other players and pass it right back to them while also being the best player on the court sharing with players older than him. Cooper Flag since a young age knew how to win and Cooper Flag at his current age still knows how to win. But even with that nobody is perfect. But the deficiencies he does have seem to be very small compared to what a lot of people think. They're not that bad. But if we continue with the reports Cooper Flag has been having fun on his visit today with the Dallas Mavericks per Kevin Gray. Great stuff to hear of your Mavs fan and yes that's that's wonderful it's beautiful and obviously you can look at it as oh of course they're saying he's having fun of course they're saying he's having a good time that's just PR talk. And obviously on the night of the lottery a lot of people thought Cooper Flag was unhappy with the Dallas Mavericks getting the number one pick looking into his body language a little bit too much. But from Cooper Flag and everybody around him and all the reports that we've seen and heard so far he is excited to be coming to Dallas in the last video that we put out we went over how the camp is excited that he's going to a team where he can compete and help win instead of going to a bottom feeder team where you're going to just be there for a while until help finally arrives. He's going to a team that is already built to win. We've just made the finals a few years ago and we're looking to make it back barring any major injuries that like last season hopefully we're past all of that now we got rid of the people that were responsible for that. So moving forward we are in a good position. Cooper Flag isn't going to be relied on every night to be the best player on the court. He's not going to be relied on to help us win or be the main reason why we win every single game. The team is currently constructed for team ball and Cooper Flag will be able to slide in perfectly and help us win right out the gate. Just going down even more reports Cooper Flag made a very favorable first impression during his workout with the Dallas Mavericks today per the Steinlein. Now obviously with his two day trip to Dallas part of it was spent with organization. They took him to a few steakhouses he met a few players they went around the city just trying to get the good vibes of Dallas but Cooper Flag was adamant on getting on the court and showing the organization in front of in his words he wanted to show the large portion of the organization exactly what he can do not just in front of Nico Harris and Jason Kidd but the other coaching staff as well as players. If we take a look right here Cooper Flag's unreal Mavericks workout just utterly crushed his biggest critique. Shout out to Noah Weber always putting out amazing articles and if we take a look at this article Flag's visit included dinner with team officials on Tuesday and an assortment of players on Wednesday and he thoroughly enjoyed both evenings according to league sources. But his time on the court on Wednesday is what has Mavericks circles buzzing. Ahead of the draft one of the biggest knocks against Flag has been his jumper and being able to space the floor in a frontcourt that includes Anthony Davis and two rim rolling centers in Derrick Live II and Daniel Gafford but he put those concerns to rest in his first ever Mavericks workout. The article continues by saying according to a league source Flag shot the ball insanely well burying jumper after jumper during his hour-long workout at the Mavericks practice facility and he dazzled throughout. The source was blown away by what they've witnessed from Flag stating that he was even better than they initially expected him to be and that's the one thing I've heard from so many sources and so many people close to Cooper Flag who's been in the gym watching him workout or have just been around him long enough or even for the first time that he's even better than what they tell you. Now obviously I've seen many reports I've seen many comparisons that Cooper Flag may not be the generational talent that's going to be seen as the next GOAT the greatest of all time the best in the history of the NBA. I've seen a lot of people say that's not really the ceiling for Cooper Flag but yet his ceiling is a lot better than a lot of players ceilings that Cooper Flag can obviously be an all-star maybe even a superstar but that's okay for the Dallas Mavericks. I personally from all I've seen all I've read and all I know the Cooper Flag will be an amazing player he's going to impact winning right out the gate with very little pressure when you're playing alongside Derek Lively, Daniel Gafford, Anthony Davis, Kyrie Irving, Klay Thompson we have a good team not a lot of pressure being put on him which will allow him to flourish regardless but the Dallas Mavericks should be happy that they have someone like Cooper Flag because that just adds to our youth we're getting a young player the youngest in the draft which will help us in the future but like I said a lot of people are blown away they think he's better than advertised I think he's better than advertised and I'm very excited as a Mavericks fan I think all Mavericks fans should be excited to hear that. The article does conclude by saying Cooper Flag's three-point shooting is even better than expected Cooper was unreal in his workout a league source told the Smoking Cuban he's a complete beast Flag's versatility and completeness to his game are what the Mavericks fans what have Mavericks fans so excited and while he will have to prove that he can be an efficient shooter at the NBA level his workout in Dallas left no doubt they can do just that now obviously with these workouts probably they're very light not a whole lot of things going on in an open gym so yes so he's knocking down shots he's looking very good in open gym but what was he but what would he look like in a scrimmage what would he look like an NBA game that is to be seen but if his track record proves true he will be the real deal he will be ready let's not forget how just a year ago he was playing with team USA for the Olympics in a scrimmage where his team almost won because of him everybody in that gym including including Anthony Davis who was there had a lot to say had high praise for Cooper Flag so not only are their coaches saying it officials saying it executives saying it other players are saying it it must be pretty true if everyone's saying the Cooper Flag is the real deal I don't have to be the one to tell you a blind man could tell you Cooper Flag is the real deal but we are in a very good spot and only a few days away from draft night we're going live so make sure you tune in we're going to be going over the entire draft obviously we are getting the number one pick so we're first after that it may be done or Nikko could be trying to trade back into the draft we've talked about that in a previous video so on Wednesday make sure you tune in we're going live for the whole draft as well as Thursday for the second round because you never know what Nikko is going to do but let me know in the comment section down below how excited are you for Cooper Flag do you think this is the new era of Mavericks basketball do you think that we're finally in a good position to move forward or do you think we still have some work to do we need to draft another player in this year's draft try to trade back in or maybe trade for another player let me know what you think in the comment section down below we could have a conversation about it but that's all I've got for you guys today thank you as far as to the video make sure to check out our Twitter and Discord links in the description below and as always y'all take care drink water peace
