Waukesha homicide: Kevin Lychwick sentenced to life in prison

Kevin Leischwick, a 64-year-old Waukesha man, has been sentenced to life in prison without parole for the murder of his neighbor, Carlos Maldonado. After a trial where Leischwick represented himself, the court found him guilty of killing Maldonado in April 2024 and concealing the body under a tarp and twigs until it was discovered six months later.
