78-year-old man killed in triple shooting; more than 50 shots fired

Police are searching for at least four suspects in connection with a deadly shooting near a busy North Philadelphia intersection.

The gunfire erupted around 4:50 p.m. Tuesday on the 2200 block of Ridge Avenue near Cecil B. Moore Avenue.

Police say three men were found shot at the scene and rushed to Temple University Hospital.

A 78-year-old died from a gunshot wound to the back.
