Hawaii Devastated After Hurricane Lala | 35+ Inches Rain, Floods & Massive Damage

Oh my gosh That one's definitely gone somewhere in the debris How is there a rock on this thing Unless it was there before I'm just walking here through the debris on the roadway here highway 11 near Pahala and I just can't wrap my mind around how significant This damage is and how much power it took to move these trees and all this lava rock Downstream as far as it did and just blow the bridges out eat the roads away I'm standing maybe three to four feet higher than the highway over there Just on a stack of volcanic rock big boulders like these ones here behind me And these giant trees you can see the root system right here on the south side of the highway And this is a long tree this is a 50-foot tall tree draped all the way across the highway and Just to think that this tree was floating down a raging river. That was once a dry creek bed Yesterday, it's just unfathomable to me It's truly unbelievable the power of water and the Big Island of Hawaii has a long journey ahead of it With all the cleanup efforts that they're gonna have to do after Hurricane Lala
