A Sketchbook Session Inspired by Wuthering Heights | Watercolor & Colored Pencils
Join me for a relaxing sketchbook session with watercolor and colored pencils, inspired by the moody atmosphere of Wuthering Heights.
On a very hot summer day, I decided to stay indoors and escape the heat through art. Dreaming of cooler days, this illustration slowly turned into something that reminded me of Wuthering Heights: an old house, a moody landscape, and a solitary figure surrounded by nature.
I used a limited watercolor palette as a base and worked over it with my Derwent Drawing pencils, whose soft texture and muted colors I really love for this kind of atmosphere.
I really enjoyed creating this illustration, and I’m very happy with how it turned out. For a moment, it almost felt like I was there.
I hope you liked it. Thanks so much for watching, and I’ll see you in the next video. ♡
