Solar eclipse visible in New England Wednesday: Here's when to look up

Time right now is 710, and if you still have it, be sure to dust off those eclipse glasses. Kashiri, it seems like we are going to be potentially expecting a solar eclipse visible. Yep, yep. Tomorrow, so we're not going to be in the path of totality unless you're headed out to Spain or Iceland. You're not going to see the total solar eclipse. But tomorrow afternoon, we're expecting some visible eclipse here in New England. You could see the Boston area going for like 16% of the sun being covered. It is going to be the top of the sun that gets slightly covered during the afternoon, and your timeline looks like this. If this is something that you want to get out and see with the kids, you have to make sure that you've got the proper eyewear or make one of those like pinhole projectors. Starts at 101, wraps up at 246. But because so little of the sun is going to be covered, you're not really going to see it getting much dimmer outside. And I would suggest just going out at 155 and taking a look when we have that maximum 16% covered.
