Operator under federal custody after mom, baby die after boat capsizes near Statue of Liberty

Boat operator Manuel Hernandez is in federal custody facing 13 counts of reckless endangerment after a boat he operated overturned on Saturday night. The accident resulted in the deaths of a 27-year-old mother, Sarah Sanchez, and her five-month-old baby. Twelve other passengers survived and are in stable condition.
