Laphroaig has given me an interesting whisky journey, from loathing to loving to being a little on the fence about its quality these days.

Currently I feel that official Laphroaig releases are sometimes hard to justify investing in unless they are cask strength. Independently bottled Laphroaig although often hard to find and maybe a little more expensive often offers a much better experience.

Join me as I delve into the 2021 Càirdeas release and find out if I think this was a worthy addition to the Càirdeas library and worthy of the entry fee!
