The Toronto Raptors are about to completely rob the NBA, as we have new details following
the Pablo Torre bombshell that dropped yesterday about how the Toronto Raptors are not just still
in position to land Kawhi Leonard. No matter what the prediction markets say, no matter what's
coming out from different analyst reports, the Toronto Raptors are still very, very well
positioned to end up with Kawhi Leonard and now are all the more likely to pull off the generational
heist that has been teased ever since these, you know, the trade was negotiated and we knew there
was going to be some details. There's going to be some insights about that. We're going to drop
about this Kawhi Leonard investigation, what the punishment will be and stuff. And the reality is
the best case situation is actually his contract getting voided and the Toronto Raptors getting
him for free. And now Michael Grange, we've had some reports drop that reveal this best case
outcome is all the more likely after yesterday's news. So let's dive into all the reports,
everything that has come out, because I know I was worried. I know a lot of people were worried
after those reports dropped yesterday, so we will dive into it all. Before we do, folks, make sure
you guys, if you were part of the 57% that haven't hit the subscribe button just yet, make sure you
guys hit that button because I don't want you to miss a single thing that's going on with this team.
I'm out in Dallas right now, out here with for Cowboys Digest, Jace Andrews Wedding. So
shout out to him. But, you know, we don't miss a beat out here on the channel. So make sure you
guys hit that subscribe button because we're recording from everywhere. As you guys know,
we always do. But let's dive into these reports. So basically, Michael Grange came out with a bunch
of insights and a bunch of news saying that per leak sources, there's a belief that the
investigation has already moved beyond its fact finding stage and the parties involved
specifically the Clippers and the MBPA, which is monitoring the situation to see what Leonard's
cons of what will happen to quiet Leonard are working quietly to get the entire issue resolved.
Something silver hinted at back in July. So basically there there's an expectation no new
news is dropping. And essentially they've come out and said this right. You know, the most likely
outcome, the most likely scenario is a negotiated settlement where the NBA gets to enforce some
version of its rules and Steve Ballmer can save face and Leonard can play for the Raptors. So
this is the most likely outcome. This is what we can expect. This is what everyone is looking at
in terms of what could be going down out there for, you know, this Kawhi Leonard situation to
be resolved. So basically, even with this Pablo Torrey bombshell that dropped and if you don't
have the full details, the full insights made a whole video on it yesterday. Basically, this
entire saga was sparked off by his investigation into the aspiration scandal with Kawhi Leonard's
AI photos and, you know, him planting trees and getting paid under the table to be representative
for aspiration, not doing a single thing. That was the big topic of discussion for the past year.
Yesterday, Pablo Torrey dropped some new insights about a new cap circumvention scandal with
basically the scoreboard company that came out as a multimillion dollar sponsorship deal that for
the scoreboard maker for the L.A. Clippers. That was its own thing. But basically, the expectation
is this. It should be all fine. And Grange went on to say that whether Torrey's latest findings
and new information in the NBA's investigation is in the NBA's investigation or not. A report
in The Athletic a month ago said a second no short endorsement deal was already a part of
the investigation. The sense is that it won't affect the next stage of the process, namely
figuring out what the league is going to do with the information it has collected. Basically,
they came out and said, from the Raptors point of view, the expectation remains that when it's
all said and done, they will emerge whole with a seven time all NBA selection ready to play
and hungry to help them compete in an Eastern conference is only getting better and deeper
since the New York Knicks won the NBA title back in June. So the Knicks died just in the background
as well. He's out here in Dallas getting hyped up. But, you know, the Knicks are getting cooked
out there in the finals. But nonetheless, the expectation is we are going to end up with Kawhi
Leonard with all this going on. So what are we dealing with? What direction are we moving in
towards in regards to getting Kawhi Leonard for free? Well, there are a couple of things that
have also dropped because one worry with, you know, the new insights, the new Pablo Torrey
bombshell that dropped is maybe Kawhi Leonard ends up getting spended for this entire year,
and that specifically was shut down as well. As another commonly cited risk is that Kawhi Leonard
will face a lengthy suspension for his role in the alleged cap circumvention. It's something that
almost certainly will not come to pass a matter that has been under reported or not previously
reported on. So Grange basically came out and said that nowhere in the language does it's in
the language of the NBA's, you know, CBA, a player can be suspended for participating in cap
circumvention. Instead, per the CBA, penalties from salary cap circumvention can include team
fines, direct forfeiture of draft picks, the voiding of any player contract, and a suspension
of up to a year for any team personnel found to have engaged in such violation. While the player
can be required to disgorge whatever benefits they gained from the third party in the cap
circumvention scheme, a player suspension is not on the menu. So basically, these new details,
the NBA is figuring out what's going on. The Toronto Raptors are under their expectation.
They are going to land Kawhi Leonard at the end of the day, no matter what Adam Silver ends up
dropping. But it will not be a suspension because if it was a year long suspension and your Kawhi
is coming, that is the worst case of the Toronto Raptors, because if he's a Raptor and he can't
play, he can't get out there on the court. That is not what we want to see. So suspension is not
on the table. The only big thing that can be coming is the contract getting voided.
Now, this is where we have a legitimate possibility. We have a legitimate route
to worry Kawhi might not be on the team. And this is where things get juicy. Things get exciting.
Basically, this is what Grange ended off his article with, saying that if Leonard's contract
is voided for his role, the Raptors would still have Brandon Ingram. They'd still have Brady Dick
and they'd still have all of the draft assets they sent to the Los Angeles Clippers. In theory,
the possibility of Kawhi Leonard signing a new contract as a free agent. So Grange is saying
if this contract gets voided, obviously all of the assets will come back. And the expectation,
the possibility of Kawhi Leonard coming to Toronto for basically free the Toronto Raptors
landing Kawhi Leonard after all this mess, because, again, the NBA is going to be coming down
hard. We broke everything down. We spilled it all out after this new Pablo tour. There's no world.
Adam Silver cannot drop the hammer on this. Right. It's it's such egregious. It's such
egregious cap circumvention. There's so many details. There's so much stuff coming out. And
this is why the process is taking so long, because they have to figure out how this all gets sorted,
how this all gets finagled and stuff. And, you know, how there's going to be something that
Steve Ballmer accepts because he is going to be fighting tooth and nail to make sure that the
Clippers aren't implicated as much as he possibly can. You know, he's a hundred billion dollars
average money that guy has. So he's able to really, you know, push back out there on Adam
Silver. But regardless, the thing after everything that's come out, I don't think there's a world
where you're really going to be able to get around this, where Kawhi's contract isn't going to get
voided. If that's the big thing, the big hammer they can swing. Of course, there's other routes.
There's other things that they could go. But if the contract gets voided, the assets come back
and Kawhi could end up signing on this team for basically free. We don't have to worry about the
suspension. We don't have to worry about all these other stuff. The Toronto Raptors could
potentially land Kawhi Leonard for free, get their picks back and then flip Brandon Ingram,
flip Grady Dick for other packages, flip them for Jalen Dern, flip them for whatever the heck
we're talking about. So this is the best case outcome. It does lead some uncertainty because
Kawhi talked about wanting to end his career with the Toronto Raptors, right?
Wanting to retire is comfortability with the front office, comfortability with the organization.
I don't think because, you know, obviously the Raptors are going to be willing to pay him long
term as well. But of course, I don't think that's going to change, right? Like because the Raptors
will only be able to sign them on the mid level or whatever the heck cap things you can do that
are illegal, not behind the scenes under the table stuff like the L.A. Clippers do. But I'd imagine
Kawhi's going to stay in green, just essentially saying that is a realistic possibility for this
team. As this comes out, you get Kawhi free. There is a chance, you know, the T-Wolves,
one of these other random teams that were in the mix link to Kawhi out there the summer before he
committed fully to the Toronto Raptors digging the weeds. I'd say Kawhi would be coming and then
you could flip these, you know, draft picks, Brandon Ingram and different pieces out. I get
giddy. It's feels too good to be true. It feels too exciting. So I don't want to jump the gun
and get too excited out here on these vids. But let me know what you guys think. Type Y for yes,
if you think the Toronto Raptors can get Kawhi lettered for free, type N for no. But let me know
what you guys think about all this in the comment section down below. You guys the best to make as
far as subscribe the channel if you guys haven't already. Anyways, I'm signing out. Cheers.
