Colin Farrell talks 'Sugar' shocker

Obviously season one's extraterrestrial twist shook viewers to our cores and this season the big jaw-dropping moment is that sugar's sister Jen is alive and he's hoped for this but she's still sort of like a stranger to him. What impact do you think Jen and their sort of differing views will have on him going forward? The only thing that's more catastrophic in a strange way than her being missing was finding her and then realizing that she's not who she once was and that something has happened something he doesn't understand something he can't put his finger on they don't get to spend enough time together there is something nefarious at play and it terrifies him because he knows how powerful she is and he knows how bright she is and brilliant she is but there is something changed there's a kind of a darkness that's fallen over her that he doesn't quite understand so the idea of how to bring them back together or what the relationship what kind of contact they would have in future seasons if we get to explore them is really interesting to me we wanted her to be to be a character that had power and agency and wasn't just a damsel in distress we're like what if she's actually has more than agency maybe she set up the thing she's a sort of a cautionary tale for sugar going forward which is like what can happen when you stay too long he has a certain personality traits that sugar doesn't necessarily have in terms of ambition and and greed and all of those things that that are going to make her a real problem for him going forward
