Today is National Whataburger Day!

Today is National Whataburger Day and we are celebrating at a Whataburger. I've got Justin with me this morning. Tell me what's going on. Yeah, today we're very excited. We are officially 76 years old as a company. Yeah, thank you very much. And we're very excited to share a special offer with all of our Whataburger app guests. So today, in the app, buy a Whataburger and get a Whataburger for free. So buy one, get one. 11 a.m. to 8 today. All day. All day. Yep, all day. So if you're out, you know, shopping for that back-to-school and you want to come here for dinner or you want to have a great afternoon snack, we're here all day. Place it in the app and we'll have it ready for you. Perfect. And it doesn't just stop today. Absolutely. Yeah, we decided that we wanted to celebrate all month long and give our loyal guests and some of our wonderful fans that have really made Whataburger what it is over the last 76 years, some different items to celebrate across the month. So on the 12th, a few days after, we're gonna have our 76 cents peach water fresher. This looks good. Very, very refreshing for these hot summer days. I know, it's hot. And then on August the 19th, so Wednesday, we have our big ranch wrap. It's good. And this is a little bit something that's new to us here in the last few months. Very great snackable item. So if you're just needing to grab a snack, it's gonna be 76 cents on Wednesday the 19th. And then on Wednesday the 26th, we have our signature chicken sandwich for 76 cents through the app as well. So celebrating our guests all month long. We are 76 years because of them. Yes. And we're really looking forward to having another great year. Um, and and celebrating 77 78 just just just making it bigger and better each year. So you're gonna be 100 at one point. So just cherish each year and keep it going. And what does it mean to, you know, give back to the community celebrating, you know, the Whataburger as a whole? Whataburger is very proud to be in in the communities that we serve. Um, you know, whether it's friday night lights, you're coming before the game or after the game, whether you're making a quick stop to the drive through after, you know, a shopping trip or whether where you go to for lunch every, you know, every day. Um, it's uh, it's very, very special. We, we, we pride ourselves in being able to be part of the community and give back in all different aspects because our guests have have shared so much with us, whether it's their celebrations, their milestones, there's always a great story about, um, you know, some guests who has some kind of emotional connection to Whataburger. And so we're just so fortunate to be able to share those and we're looking forward just giving back all month. I love it. Yeah. So download that app and anything else we should know about Whataburger before we go? Well, we just opened our 1200 location yesterday in Orlando florida. We couldn't be more excited to not just continue to see our growth in texas, but to see our growth in different states. Exciting. And okay, last question. Your favorite thing on the menu. My favorite thing on the menu is the patty melt. Oh, the patty melt is is my is my favorite. Okay. Mine's a junior Whataburger. I love that with fries and a large coke. It's delicious.
