U.S. F-35A Lightning II Fighter Jets • Lithuania (MAR 2022)

U.S. Air Force F-35A Lightning II strike fighters, moved from Spangdahlem Air Base in Germany and RAF Lakenheath in England, are now operating at Siauliai Air Base in Lithuania, on March 1, 2022. U. S. F-35s will be forward deployed to the Baltic region for an extended period of time to support NATO and assert air dominance in highly contested environments. Units - 34th Fighter Squadron and 48th Fighter Wing.
