Today I'm answering a question that probably no one has asked. Could a dog beat a cat in a marathon?
Because we all know cats are good at running really short distances at really fast miles per
hour. But in today's video we're going to be finding out if your normal house cat could actually
keep it up for 26 whole miles and to see if a dog could actually beat a cat in a long-term marathon.
Now you might be wondering how I'm going to get a cat and dog to actually run a marathon because
to be honest a real cat and dog probably couldn't actually run a full marathon at once.
So I'm relying on ChatGPT to tell me the answer to if cats could be a dog in a marathon.
Before ChatGPT tells us be sure to comment who you think is going to win in the comments.
So first I asked ChatGPT how fast a cat can run and it says they can sprint at around 30 miles
per hour but only for a very short distance. And after scrolling through a bunch of facts I got
the answer that a cat could run a marathon in four to six hours but that would be really unrealistic
and it would be more realistic if it was six to ten hours. Then ChatGPT told me the obvious that
a cat would never actually willingly run a marathon but we already all knew that so now
we're going to ask about how fast a dog could run a marathon. ChatGPT said something I wasn't
expecting and it started talking about since there's multiple breeds of dogs there would be
different times for each dog. So for the very big dogs like collies or german shepherds they could
run a marathon 2.5 to 4 hours. So obviously that beats the time of your normal house cat but what
would happen if a chihuahua or a small dog decided to go off against the cat? So to be getting the
ultimate answer I'm going to ask ChatGPT to take all the dogs times and just put them into one for
your average dog and this is the moment of truth if a dog would actually beat a cat in a marathon.
And unfortunately for all the cat lovers like me apparently your average dog breed would beat your
cat in a marathon so that's dogs one and cats zero but I still know cats are better than dogs
and if you think so too make sure to comment that below. Anyways that about wraps it up for this
video. If you enjoyed please be sure to comment, like the video, subscribe and check out all my
