DECK GIVEAWAY Please leave a comment below and Like this video and I will select 8 winners in my next video.
Hello again everybody.
Today I'm going to be showing you another super easy card trick that's a variation of
a trick I did about five years ago.
At the end of the video I'll be announcing the winners of the signed deck giveaway from
my last video, plus there's going to be another signed deck giveaway.
So for this trick what I'm going to do is actually I'm going to make a prediction.
So the prediction is going to be a secret.
So let me just go through the cards and I'll pull out a secret prediction and that's my
prediction right over there.
Now what I'd like you to do is divide the deck into three equal sections as close as
you possibly can.
So let's say you divide the deck just like that, 1, 2, and 3.
Now we'll turn over the top cards, a 3, a 3, and a 5.
So what we're going to do is we're going to count out 1, 2, 3 cards and put one card on
each of these piles.
We'll count out another three cards, 1, 2, 3, and put one card on the remaining piles.
And five cards, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and put one card on the remaining piles.
Now the cards were mixed.
You cut the cards wherever you wanted.
You landed on these numbers and here's where we are right now with these three piles.
My prediction in the beginning of the trick was the 7 of spades and you found the other
three 7's.
Okay, this is so easy and it usually gets great reactions.
First you want to remove any 4 of a kind that you like.
I used the 7's in my performance, so I took out the four 7's.
You're going to take out a 5 and three random cards.
The setup is the 5 goes on top of the deck, followed by three random cards, followed by
any three 7's.
You're going to take these seven cards, place them on top of the deck, and the fourth 7
goes somewhere in the middle.
So you have a 5, three random cards, three 7's, and you're ready to begin.
Now you want to casually pick up the cards and start mixing them.
So what I did was I picked up the cards and I thumbed cards off the front like I was mixing
the cards.
And when I got near the top of the deck, I moved these cards right to the back.
You could also do a Hindu shuffle where the cards are face up.
You can lift up about half the cards or three quarters of the cards and start peeling cards
off the top.
So it looks like you're mixing the cards.
Then you say to the spectator you're going to make a secret prediction.
You're going to look through the cards while you're hiding the cards and you're going to
search for that 7.
You're going to set it down and now you're going to have the spectator divide the deck
into three sections.
A good way to do it is to have them divide the cards before they actually set the piles
so you can have them divide it into three piles and then set the piles down.
Now the pile with the 5 is going to be the last pile that you go to.
So now I'm turning over, I have a 6, a 4, and a 5.
An Ace would be 1 and you can tell the spectator that if they turn over a 10, a Jack, a Queen
or a King, that's worth 10.
Now you start with the 6, so you count 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and place 1 card on the remaining
piles and then set these cards back.
4, 1, 2, 3, 4, 1 card on the remaining piles, set these cards back.
And 5, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 1 card on the remaining piles and set these cards back.
Now you can recap and say you cut the cards wherever you wanted, you landed on these numbers
and we counted out the cards and my prediction at the beginning was the 7 of spades and you
landed on the other three 7's.
It's so easy and gets great reactions.
Let me know what you guys think.
