'We had the goal to come here and medal, and we did', Tunks claims silver at Commonwealth Games

Well, Julia, what a great moment for you. What a great moment for your family. Talk about this silver medal and what it means to you and having dad here. We put in a lot of work this season, you know, and we had the goal to come here and medal, and that's exactly what we did. So I think it's in a really good position for the years to come. And, you know, my mom's here, my dad's here, my grandpa's here. So it's just it's great to have all the supporters and everybody back home watching. So, yeah, what a rich tradition your family has at international competition. Your dad with three discus medals at the Commonwealth Games. Now you match him with with your silver. Just talk about that relationship and the camaraderie and the proud moment for the both of you. It's definitely a special relationship because, you know, we go to practice as, you know, coach daughter and then we come home father daughter. And it's it's it's really special because I really like enjoy how much time we get to spend together. And, you know, we come out here, me and my younger sister, and we kind of make a name for ourselves. So I love it. And like, I wouldn't trade it for anything else. You've got the flag on your chest. You've got the flag in your hands. You've won a medal for your country. Try and find some words to describe what it's like to do this on this big stage. It's always an honor to represent your country, like especially at this high of a level. And like, you know, I don't really have words to describe how happy I am and how proud I am right now.
