DIY Nightstand Makeover: This did NOT go as planned
One thing I know for sure- when redoing furniture, things don't always go as planned. The finish I ended up with is NOT AT ALL what I originally pictured, but I rolled along with it, and it turned out unique and beautiful (at least in my opinion haha).
The tops, top drawers, and bases were white-washed with 50/50 water to Fusion Mineral Paint, the sides and bottom two drawers were painted in Ash, a rich charcoal grey, lightly distressed, sealed, and then white waxed for a rustic, borderline cerused finish. White wash was also sealed with Big mama's Butta.
I wasn't sure if I was even going to upload this video, where things didn't go quite as planned, but I think that's just part of the biz so I opted to share my experience! Plus, the more I look at them, the more I LOVE THEM!
