'Sugar' star Colin Farrell loves Tony Dalton's "stillness"

As a huge Better Call Saul fan, I was thrilled to see the great Tony Dalton join the cast. And just explore another deliciously menacing character. What do you admire about him as a scene partner? His stillness, you know, I mean, I do be lepping around the room sometimes, but his stillness and his focus, you know, he was obviously he's got a very real and present intensity. I loved our scenes. You know, he's the way he brought Vega to life and that sense of threat. But also, you know, not being so arch as well. Also, you know, the stuff, just the breeziness, the easiness of the stuff with his daughter, you know, that that kind of came in. And I mean, that stuff's important as well, you know, and shows the kind of human being, you know, people who do terrible things in life and in the world. Sometimes they have kids they're tender with. And, you know, it's like so, yeah, he was just his character. Vega was so multifaceted, so well rounded, as they say. Oh, man, Colin's the best. He's a he's a real pro. He's you know, he's been he's been at it for a while and he's been killing it since, I don't know, the 90s. I was still waiting tables back then. But yeah, yeah, yeah. I mean, he's just you know, he's just the sweetest guy. First one on the set. Last one to leave. Knows everybody's name. He's really kind. It just it's you know, it's it's exactly the kind of person you want to work with.
