Glen Powell talks about face-ripping 'Chad Powers' kiss

Kissing and the messiness of like feeling like you're tearing off clothes, but you're literally pulling someone's face off. This incredible first kiss between Chad and Ricky. There's such a build up and so many opportunities throughout the season. So was it important for you that the kiss took place with Chad versus Russ? And I'm curious, obviously, what it was like getting your face ripped off. You know what's really funny is, is Waldron and I had debates on on how what the wish fulfillment of this kiss would be. And one thing that I always said is I said, I don't want her to kiss Russ, I want her to kiss Chad. And and because it's falling in love with who he can be, you know, and this is like he's got a bit of a love affair with Chad, too. You know, it's sort of the goodness inside of him and she's falling in love with that potential. And also, I just love the idea of the the ripping, like the kissing and the messiness of like feeling like you're tearing off clothes, but you're literally pulling someone's face off. And that was always something just like kind of it just felt kind of iconic and fun.
