Mass shooting in Seattle leaves three dead, one arrested

Gunfire turned a festival in Seattle into a scene of terror Sunday. Three people were killed and four others injured during the attack. One suspect is in custody. Foxworth TC Mozinga joins us in studio with details on who police are looking for now. T. C. A. Good morning guys. Police believe this was a fight between two people. Now we don't know the names of the victims or the suspects yet, but we do know one of the injured victims is a toddler. So now authorities are looking to arrest a second suspect who is also responsible for this deadly shooting. Investigators say the shooting happened as thousands of people packed the annual bite of Seattle Festival Sunday evening. It's a three day event that brings in more than 3300 people. I should say now shots rang out around six p.m. Three people died and four others were heard, including a two year old officers working security at the festival quickly arrested one suspect. Investigators believe the detained suspect and the second suspect officers are now looking for. We're shooting at each other in the crowd. One man describes what he saw when the first shots rang out. I heard about, I'd say close to 12. Um, sounded a little bit like firecrackers at first. Um, it kept, um, took, like I say, a half a second pause and I heard a lot more. Um, I realized I was semi automatic. Probably it sounds like a switch. Um, I looked to my left. I saw at least one individual with a switch. Um, semi automatic. I saw another one that was two. That's when I heard over, um, that those shots fire. That's what I took off around the corner. Seattle police do not have a description of the second suspect, but they do say there is no ongoing threat to the community. Now, investigators are working to determine what led up to this shooting. We will provide, we will be sure to provide any updates once they become available for good day. I'm T. C. M. Was Inga.
