LeBron James Chooses Philadelphia Over Miami and Cleveland

Were you stunned that he chose LeBron James to go to the city of brotherly love? I was thinking he was going to maybe head down to South Beach again and go down there with Giannis and those guys, or maybe go home to Cleveland. Were you surprised he picked Philadelphia to go on and continue to try to win another championship? I was a little surprised, Dan, but I really did thought, I thought there were two places. I thought Cleveland, and ultimately I did think he was going to go back to Cleveland, but then I thought Philadelphia was the second choice. I never bought it to Miami. The moment Miami sent out that little tweet text or whatever they did, I knew he was not going to. That was Miami saying, we know you're not coming here. You know what? We're going to screw you anyway. We're going to get your fan base all excited, and now they're going to hate you for not coming down to Miami, not us. So I knew that was disaster. I didn't buy into the Golden State. They're over the hill. He was not going to Minnesota either. So I really thought it was going to be Cleveland, but I did think, though, Dan, if he really wanted to win, what would be the best opportunity, and that's Philadelphia. I mean, I do love this 76. I liked it without LeBron. In fact, I think I like it better without LeBron, to tell you the truth. There's only one basketball on the court, and I don't know how he's going to mix and all this other stuff, but if he really wanted to win and accept the fact he's going to make chump change, minimum for a veteran, then it had to be either Cleveland, because he could just say, yeah, I'm going back home, or Philadelphia, because I thought that gave him the best chance to win.
